I was always a Salazar fanboy good or bad. If you're a SP and can throw 99mph like he showcased tonight then you win me over. It was a joke that a bad ST judged his rotation spot, I take his talent everyday of the week and twice on Sunday over House, Marcum, Z-Mac, Tomlin, shit I'm just happy he came back quick like he did.
I don't know how some of you feel about House but we should be buyers on a solid 5th starter. I wouldn't mind him as a extra lefty in the pen come September though.

For those upset about ZMac over Salazar to start the year, I have a feeling - reading between the lines - that Danny wasn't doing some things up to the expectations the team has. Columbus was a wake-up call for him, and it looks like it may have worked. Carrasco Part 2.

I have a feeling that the Indians just overreacted to spring training.
Salazar was in the minors for what, less than 2 weeks? I would doubt that made a world of difference. He struggled in spring, but as said before, he shouldn't have even been battling for a job in spring based on his experience/performance.

Danny wasn't able to locate his fastball in spring training, if a few weeks in Columbus to get ready for the season was the play...they were correct.
From a scouting perspective, when you're wondering if stuff is going to play at the big league level, you look at something like this and just shake your head:
