This makes me happy.

This team really needs to do something so that if they aren't title contenders next season, they definitely will be for 2017. We have too much young talent under contract for the foreseeable future where we simply cannot waste it.

I didn't include Raburn or Aviles, although I think there's a shot Mike returns.

Was thinking about the money that came off the books in Raburn, Moss and Murph and went looking at the impending FAs for who might be reasonable... Holy hell what a pile of puke. Almost nothing in terms of hitting. Couldn't even find a bargain guy or a vet that might slip who hasn't fallen off completely. Only FA hitter this team ends up with is Slim Pickens.

The fact he put Brady Aiken on there made me LOL.

Somewhere, Swisher33 is smiling.

Who on that roster is capable of hitting at least 5 Home Runs per year?

Does anyone have deep infield power?

Ichiro is going into the Hall of Fame despite 73% of his hits never leaving the infield. The new Tribe built on defense and speed will be fine. Ty Holt is a less racist Th Cobb for all you know.

Or more racist...for all you know.

I've already come to terms with the inevitable return of Bourn at CF in 2016 along with Swish' s final, pathetic comeback at DH and the platoon of Lonnie Chisenhall and Jerry Sands at RF. Maybe they will add a few more boxes in the right field upper deck to stir up some civic excitement.

I hate Alex Gordon.

Because of him, and how poorly he started out his career, I can't cut emotional ties to Lonnie. Now we're even moving him to a corner outfield spot! I still think he'll pan out... even though I know I shouldn't feel that way.
