2017 Browns Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Supposedly the rumor is the Browns want Grappolo but the Patriots want a 1st and Fourth round for him. Honestly I would not offer that much for him. A second round pick is max in my opinion and nothing more. What do you guys think? Would you offer 12th pick and a fourth round for Grapollo?

I'm not playing into the Patriots bullshit, trying to draft some guy in the 2nd round and then sell him off after 2 years- as a virtual unknown- for a high first rounder. Fuck that. That is why the Patriots are the Patriots. Swindling people like that year after year. I'd offer two second rounders. That's it. Maybe throw in late picks or whatever, but nothing higher.

The Patriots floating a huge price-tag for Jimmy G shouldn't be a surprise to anyone familiar with negotiating.. That's New England's opening demand, which almost always should be more than you're willing to accept. I feel pretty good about that 33 pick being the focal point of any Cleveland trade for Jimmy G. If John Lynch & Mark Dominick want to part ways with #2, let them. It's his job that'll be lost, not mine.

If we somehow end up trading our #12, or God help us all, our #1 for Jimmy, I will find out where you work and get you fired. I will show them where you touched me.

As Chris said, two 2nd rounders. I would very much like to keep #33 this year. As we can still get a nice player that we truly need...but if it happens, maybe #33 and a later round pick. Or #33 and our 2018 2nd that we took from the Eagles.

Or they can just fuck off and we can ride Kessler bareback one more year then draft QB in 2018.

And what happens if Jimmy becomes a franchise QB? You guys will be pissed you didn't trade #12 when you're loaded with picks

Yet, its still a question. Im a Jimmy fan myself, but its not a sure thing.

To piggy back on this, a known solid QB like Sam Bradford netted a mid first rounder. I think, being that Jimmy is still a relative unknown, I think 12 should be out of the question as of now.
