JJJ with 8 3’s and 29 points for the Grizz

Seth Curry to Blazers...and so ends the reign of the Mavs as the Dubs' minor league affiliate, as they go from nearly pulling off the Curry-Thompson-Barnes-Green-Bogut lineup to desperately trying to rid themselves of Barnes' albatross contract, as Cuban demands playoffs amid the org's recent off-court problems.

Lol...It's just the first game man. OF SUMMER LEAGUE, not the regular season, the SUMMER LEAGUE!

Did you watch the game? I thought Trae actually got to spots well and looked explosive. There's a difference between just missing shots and not being good. He had quality looks, he just didn't knock them down. I think he'll be fine.
He might be good, but I don't think he'll ever be a star. Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but I expect his ceiling to be an inefficient high usage volume shooter that puts up some decent looking stats but doesn't win.

Jimmy Butler apparently wants out of Minnesota and him & Kyrie want to team up in the East in 2019.

Seems like the New York teams are logical destinations

He took some terrible shots too. He needs to clean up that selection. He will get more open looks to the more he picks teams apart with his passing.

Definitely.....but that is going to be par for the course as a younger player. He's going to have to grow out of shot selection.

He looked every bit like a very good NBA creator out of the box with room to improve. Passing was as advertised....thought the assist total was misleading.

His defense was probably the most encouraging, if you are a fan of his. These aren't all NBA players but it was more just him giving effort on that end. If he is engaged defensively and is just a wash or a slight negative, his ceiling is pretty high.

I definitely wouldn't be ready to put his carerr in a grave, but watching that game yesterday made me drool over JJJ. He was one of the youngest players in the draft and he looked like a star.
