2018-2019 Tank Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bout to ruin the tank by winning a game? Nance to the rescue

you'd think at the end of a close game they'd run a pick with love and Sexton but nope Stauskas and Nance

Nance has blown about 8 possesions in the last :)

Lots of mistakes . Not playing Collin at the end of the last couple games. Is he being punished or is that tanking protocol.

As long as they keep playing Criss, out tank is in good shape.

Playing him over Ante has to be a tank method. Maybe they are seeing if there is actually any way we should sign him. and simultaneously trying to depress Ante;'s value, but man. He sucks!

I'd imagine they are trying to watch his minutes. In the last two, even sitting for extended stretches in the 4th, he still hit 37 and 39 minutes.

He's averaged around 35 minutes a game in both February and March, so it's possible they are trying to taper off a bit down the stretch we'll see.

At this point, just get everyone home healthy.

Seems odd to me that he is getting those bench minutes. That is Jordan's job even though he hasn't been as good with Delly out. I really don't care about Collin's minutes as I have never seen him tired. He should be in there at the end of the game every time i think.

The bulls appear to be tanking hard these days. Down by 20 vs Portland in the 2nd Q.

This is like 2016 game 7 all over again.

We’re up 2 with 6 games left. But the bulls are going all out - now shutting down markinnen as well with “fatigue”.

The Magic Number is "one." We can only win one more game because the Bulls might as well forfit the rest of their games.

Now that Love is back the Cavs have cooled the tanking commitment and lets face it, they still are not good enough defensively to win many games down the stretch despite playing good in a lot of these recent games.
I was hoping Phoenix would win a couple more but they are still terrible. Chicago's obviously tanking hard for that 3rd spot and could lose out but the Cavs will unlikely win more than 2 games 1 against the Suns & another if Kings are bounced by then and rest starters. The Spurs & Clippers are trying to position themselves in the playoffs and Charlotte unless they are out of it by then should definitely be fighting hard for that 8 seed in the final game. Cavs are not beating GSW unless they rest players, and I'm hoping Love plays against them as opposed to the Kings the day before.
Cavs really should consider the goal here is the 3rd pick as the difference in #1 pick odds is different in the top 3 than at 4 by a decent margin despite the lottery changes. Not to mention if at 4 they could end up as far back as 8th if 4 teams 5-14 were to jump ahead of them. Unlikely but possible.
If the scenario develops where they fall badly in the lottery, I'm taking Louis King or Kevin Porter

Sexton needs days off as well. All the starters need them. I would sit everybody vs. the Suns.
