Depending on time and $$$$, i May be able to make Monday’s game. Never been to a playoff game before.

Not really sure how Houston aligns their rotation, I think Verlander in Game 1 is the only likely guarantee. I'd imagine they go Verlander - Cole - Morton - Keuchel - Verlander but no combination would really surprise me.


Some interesting bits:

• Verlander has been much more HR prone at home. At home he has a 2.84 ERA and is allowing 1.46 HR/9. Houston is 8-11 in games he starts at home. On the road, he has a 2.14 ERA and is only allowing 0.84 HR/9. Houston is 13-2 in games he starts on the road

• As has been the case for now 4 years running, Carlos Carrasco has pitched significantly better on the road. Carlos was very impressive in his postseason debut in Yankee stadium last year.

• Kluber has been much more sharp at home than road this year. 2.14 ERA at home, 3.80 ERA on the road.

I think the Astros are the best team in baseball, but in a 5 game series, with our starters, it should be a tight series.

Haven't peeped any stats but I think we hit Verlander well, so literally basing my prediction on that.

Silly, I know. But fuck it. Going to be an absurdly hard fought and stressful series, I'll take the Tribe to move on though (to another extremely hard fought and stressful series in the ALCS)
