2018 Game #7 | #3 Ohio State vs. Minnesota | October 13th, 2018 @ 12 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This isn't news but man Prince sucks

It’s hard to believe the running game is this bad right now

Shades of Penn State a couple of years ago. Prince getting fucking abused every play.

How did we only give up 14?

How did we only give up 14?

Missed field goals and the two turnovers in the redzone for Minny.

Hopefully this game will result in some shake ups. The offense needs to work on running the ball. Two back sets and using our hybrids as runners needs to be added. On defense they need to find the best 11 guys cause this group is bad.

If anything this game should give the coaches a lot of ammo to get under these guys to get better.

I see no reason Tate Martell shouldn’t get snaps on 3rd and 4th and 1’s to keep defenses honest on the QB keep.

It wouldn’t be that different than when Tebow was the short yardage specialist. I think it’s such a green light for defenses to crash, it’d be much more efficient to have Tate handle the short yardage situations.

I'd like to hear from some OSU fans about the cornerbacks. I haven't watched much this year but they are gaining momentum in draft websites.

NFL GM’s recognize our scheme actually hurts our corners numbers at times.

We play press man 85% of the time, man over 90% of the time, and pitnour corners on islands damn near all the time.

With that said, Okudah has the most talent of any of our corners. Sheffield is blah, IMO. Not nearly the freak athlete Lattimore or Ward were. Arnette is physical but lacks a bit in coverage.

I think this is a down year for studs in our secondary personally. Fuller is a bit overrated. Wint/Pryor are average but improving. I think Wade and Okudah have, by far, the highest ceilings of our current cb’s but they’re lacking experience.

At the same time.....all these cats would look much better if Bosa were terrorizing QB’s.

I don’t care for Arnette at all; Sheffield seemingly always has position but never plays the ball.reminds me of Chimdi Chekwa

We play way too soft on the slot receiver. It's how Minnesota was able to connect on slant routes all day.

We also got gashed in the running game this week. Not good...

It there aren't some significant improvements with our LBs, secondary and O line in the next few games, TTUN is going to kick our ass.

Something definitely needs to be done. I actually thought at one point yesterday that they had something drawn up when Haskins started moving guys around and it looked like two players were going to be in the backfield to take the snap.

The only problem with using Martell is that you have to run him on the field and it let's the defense matchup and lineup properly. JT was so effective because it didn't matter who was on the field, they could lineup and run the QB draw without letting the defense substitute.

I'd personally like to see one of the RBs or Hybrids take the direct snap and run the option. Do we have a player on offense that was a QB in high school and now plays another position?
