No one cares if two of the highest spending teams play each other outside of their fan bases.

Cle vs Milwaukee would have had more people watch IMO. Even Houston is more compelling than Boston vs LA.

I can’t say I watched even one second of it. Never turned it on and didn’t even follow the box scores. Absolutely didn’t give a shit.

These playoffs sucked. First round day games, second and WS round 8:30 start times, bullpen games, commercials between batters and two hated markets making the WS.

Just saying, all this has been happening for several years now. MLB absolutely has to do away with the weekday day games though. It's terrible and frankly embarrassing for the league.

And I don't necessarily find the bullpen games any less entertaining, but for a late start it can certainly drag a game out very late.

I think 2 large, hateable franchises along with Boston steamrolling everyone in sight made this one of the least memorable postseasons in recent memory.

It's crazy that a Boston/LA Championship series had historically low ratings, though.

Just goes to show you that general sports fans are tired of the big markets. Nobody to root for or against in a series like that.

Whats disgusting is the city of Boston is far from done. You just know we will get the annual Brady bowl in February. The celtics could very well be in the finals.....they will get destroyed, but still, we will be looking at another Boston team in a title game. And this could be like a 3 more year thing. Jesus Christ. Theres no city in sports that loathe more than the city of Boston. Fuck them.

I didn't watch a second of baseball after the Indians got curb-stomped. Glad the ratings flopped like crazy. Watching the Red Sox steamroll their way to a world series isn't fun.
