@EdMonix11 @Derek

what do you know about Jean Carlos Mejia, we wouldn't have added him to the 40 man roster unless they expected him to contribute in the near future.

Hey anyone have the scoop on the 39th man on the roster

Assuming the org has been plans for him

*sighs* Honestly I am asking a question about a guy who is a minor league pitcher who was added to the 40 man roster and is an unknown to me overall. This question is a legit one for this thread since it is about the minor league and the players we have in the minors. Would you please stop being an ass?

I am just curious to know why they feel they needed to protect him from other organizations when he hasn't pitched at a high level and is not ranked really anywhere by places. Cleveland probably feels he will be a sleeper just like guys like Erik Gonzalez and some others were who they added even though they only played A ball. So I am trying to ask guys who know the system and about the guys in the minors. Is there anything wrong with that?

Here's MLB.com's Top-15 as of right now for us, I'm trying to get into following our prospects a bit more than I have in the past:
  1. Triston McKenzie, RHP
  2. Nolan Jones, 3B
  3. Ethan Hankins, RHP
  4. Noah Naylor, C
  5. George Valera, OF
  6. Yu Chang, IF
  7. Bobby Bradley, 1B
  8. Sam Hentges, LHP
  9. Lenny Torres, RHP
  10. Luis Oviedo, RHP
  11. Brayan Rocchio, SS
  12. Daniel Johnson, OF
  13. Gabe Rodriguez, SS
  14. Aaron Bracho, SS
  15. Raynel Delgado, SS/2B
Few questions for the minor league experts on here:
- Lot of middle infielders on there - who has the highest ceiling?
- What's up with the catcher Naylor? First time I've ever heard of him was looking up this list and he was 4th.
- Ditto with the lefty Hentges - never heard of the guy, but I like seeing a lefty up so high. Starter or reliever?

Naylor is our most recent 1st rounder, 18 years old, and a pure hitter, but hasn't played above the AZL yet.

Rocchio probably has the highest ceiling, since he's a high IQ guy with a twig body right now, but he hasn't above the AZL either. Granted he's only 17.

Hentges is a big lefty, had TJ a a couple years ago. Was solid, but unspectacular this past year. I know @AZ_ and I have both been surprised how highly he's been ranked.
