2019 Browns Off Season/Roster Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You're right.

Chubb is better.

I think what he means is that they are nothing alike as players. Their style of play is totally different. David Johnson is basically the ultimate version of Duke Johnson, a receiving back who is competent between the tackles but best utilized in space.

Chubb is a top tier between the tackles back who is competent as a receiver.

That's a take I can respect. Saying you'd rather have Nick Chubb than David Johnson because you think Chubb's a better runner? That's reasonable.

Saying Nick Chubb is the same player as the best receiving back we've seen since Marshall Faulk? That's loony.

Chubb having speed to outrun defense isn't an elite trait--at least by my definition, because plenty of other RB's possess that trait.

Yeah, being faster or more powerful is so 2010. I want a running back who's great at receiving, kicking, standing on his head... you know, unique stuff.

Ugh, we’ll need to replace these guys. I agree with @Randolphkeys... if we draft a CB or S for each of our first three picks then I’d be totally happy.
Is Howard Wilson going to be in camp or did the Browns cut him already? Tough luck for the guy 2 years of no football ro begin his career, did he ever recovered from his injuries?

Still technically a member of the team.

Recovering and in the facility quite a bit. No idea if he's able to begin his pro career quite yet.

I can't imagine anyone is counting on his return.

If it's not us versus the Pats, it'll be us against the Jets on Monday for the 50th anniversary of Monday Night Football.
Why not both (just curious)? There are a lot of stories to be had for the opener vs the Pats for SNF. Then on the Jets front, that would be an excellent story since the Jets vs Browns was the 1st MNF.

If we get the Pats early on, when they usually feel things out, I feel a lot better about my 12 win prediction.

That would be really cool to be honest. Same results hopefully too.
