You mean the warriors without Durant are still good!? I’ll play it safe and say Portland might pull out one game with some late game heroics, but that’s it at best. That goes for the finals also, no matter who they play and whether or not they have Durant. In fact, I think Durant’s injury has breathed some new life into the splash bros.

This playoffs is really just about who the new king of the east is.

MIL will probably get 2 games, MAYBE force a G7. TOR should get 1, maybe 2.

The reality is that depending on how you rate whatever Cousins has left, and rate playoff Iggy, the Dubs have 4-6 players better than Milwaukee's 2nd best player and Toronto's 3rd best player. [Yes, I'm not saying "3-6" because Durant is coming back by then, let's not kid ourselves.]

This might be Portland's lucky day, but I have a hard time believing they can keep this up in the 2nd half.

They will need him vs Milwaukee, for sure. Boogie might even be back then too.

Warriors don't need Durant. They close these games out so controlled. They didn't take a single tough shot in the final five minutes. They got dunks and foul shots while Portland floundered and got selfish.

Nobody matches their top gear. The East doesn't have a prayer.
