2019 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I am definitely not rooting for the Warriors, and I am fine with seeing Toronto win -- they have always been a classy organization, not obnoxious like the Celtics. But I totally relate to the frustration in watching the Warriors fall apart once Lebron has left and we are in the basement. If we had just managed the Kyrie trade correctly and kept Lebron this could have been us in a position to take advantage.

How nice would it have been to hang on to Kyrie until the deadline and trade him for Kawhi.

This has been a good couple days. Boston fans get to go home miserable after the Bruins choke job. Durant is a pegleg now and GS is on the brink.i will go to sleep with a smile on my face tonight. The media today was basically holding vigels for KD. I think Rachel Nichols cried. Funny thing is when Kyrie and Love went down in 15, they did not give a shit. Hardly even mentioned it. I say fuck KD and his rotten, dead ass leg/ foot. I hope he is never the same and it messes his free agency up. Draymond.....i hope your next.

I just can’t go that far. I want the Warriors to lose. But, I can’t root for someone to blow out a knee or tear up an Achilles. Even talented players have to work hard and spend a ton of time in the gym to succeed in the NBA. I hope that KD is able to play at a high level again. But, he is past 30 and that is a brutal injury. The odds are likely against him.

Fuck him and his mama and his burner accounts. Karma is a Bitch. He was such a loser he joined the team that beat him. I've only seen that type of cowardice in COD when people dashboard. He will never win a chip as the man because he knows he can't. His a loser a cunt and cost us multiple championships. Fuck that fat POS Cousins as well. Hope both of them are d league from now on.

I can really see both sides on this issue. It's unfortunate when a top professional athlete experiences a devastating injury, but I think you also have a valid perspective.

Plenty of teams come back from down 3-1; shit, the Warriors themselves did it the series prior. That it's the Finals really shouldn't matter, and if it makes you feel any better, we'll always be the first team to do it.

Rooting for the Warriors here. Can't stand to watch the "paragon of perfect health" Warriors characteristically fall apart the second LeBron leaves Cleveland and we're no longer a contender. The fuckin' Raptors of all teams shouldn't be the ones to take advantage. It also diminishes our accomplishment of being the only team to put a dent in their dynasty.

Screw Toronto.

Someone at some point is going to end Golden State's dynasty. It's inevitable. From my perspective it doesn't matter who does it, because someone will. Might as well be Toronto. Besides, I don't want to see the Warriors three-peat.

Someone will get fired over this, or leave "to pursue other interests". Likely Myers. It may or may not be right, but it will allow the Warriors to save face with the players and say they dealt with it.

Kerr came out really hard, defended what GSW did, and said he'd make the exact same decision again.

It is tough to say. We all know hindsight is 20/20. If the medical team gave the go ahead, it is hard to blame the Warriors basketball people for what happened.

The argument is that nobody knew his Achilles was an issue, and thought the worst he could do was just hurt the calf. The problem I have is that he didn't even get in a full practice, so he was essentially going out there without having stretched out his legs and testing them fully.

agreed. Toronto isn't Boston. I want the Warriors to fall apart... for perpetuity. They are essentially "Celtics West" as far as I'm concerned now

What i do hope happens tonight is donkey lips getting that 7th tech and costing them the game. Best case is this happening, a close second is gs just getting their asses kicked.

This GSW team just isn’t the same. All the players have regressed from a few years ago.

Our guys just had to leave huh

Hoping they can close a game 7 back in Toronto.
