2019 NFL offseason thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
True is some aspects. But he did turn down his own option with the Niners. Wasn’t it like 10-15 million?

I don't hate what he did, but he is a sold back up and this point needs to be remembered. He turned down top 10 qb money at the time for one more year because he thought he was a starter still when he got beat out by Gabbert.

So that Broncos deal really wasn't that bad. Another team was interested in trading for Flacco, so they had to move quickly to get it done. I mean, if another team wanted Flacco, he was in some sort of demand.

And the second team was

*checks notes*

The Redskins?!!?

Nevermind.

Please...don't do this.

This is not an insult towards New England's success but it's time for them to bow out.

That Super Bowl was a disgrace and reminded me of some real horror games I've seen with the Browns.

Go away.

I mean, they'll go away as soon as a team finally beats them. The Pats weren't even that good this year but Belichick just makes these other coaches his bitch like none other. He made Goff look like he didn't even belong in the NFL. AZ must have been on suicide watch.

When the Steelers dynasty was pretty much done? It was because Bradshaw couldn't play any more. In 1980 the reason the Browns had a shot was because that team was running ragged in that realm.

49ers? Montana got injured in the 1990 NFC title game. They had a "fail safe' in Steve Young so that pushed their window out a bit more. Lawrence Phillps not blocking for Steve Young in 1999 effectively closed it. (no offense the Jeff Garcia/TO niners who were an okay team)

Cowboys. Jimmy Johnson gets fired. Switzer pretty much just took that team to another Super Bowl but pretty much caused a rift between him and Aikrman. Michael Irvin gets hurt, retires. Troy Aikman gets hurt, retires. Could be argued that franchise's window was "shut" by 1998 though.

The above situations have yet to happen though with that team for whatever reason. Brady gets injured in 08? Bounces right back. Belichick/Brady/Kraft have friction the past 2-3 seasons? Again. Irrelevant. The only thing that happened was Jimmy G. got traded. Dude gets phantom "Roughing the Passer" penalties to boot. So his career is somewhat being extended by that.

If he was involved in trafficking? Hope he rots in hell. If it was paying for sex? Who cares, marriage is basically legal prostitution.

He solicited sex at a massage parlor.
