2019 Series #11 | Indians vs. Mariners | May 3rd, 4th, and 5th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
God I hate the owner he screwed us out of having another shot to win this year. You can't strip away your good players to save money when you are going to let Lindor walk in a few years. You have to at least try now. Sell the team if you can't pay to try and win a championship.

This team sucks this year compared to 2016 and 2017. The Twins are going to win the division if this team doesn't get more help.

You lost 2 of your stud pitchers and they think they can just ride with who they have when they are scoring 3 runs or less almost every game.

Thank god for the Browns because Cavs suck and Indians are not much better thanks to the owner.

Rebuild time again for the Indians. Really needed to win the championship in 2016 when up 3-1 vs Cubs won't be making WS anytime soon again and Cavs will likely never make the NBA Finals in our lifetime again.

We've won the first two games of this series and are off to our best start ever under Terry Francona.

Leonys Martin left in the 9th with a tight hamstring. Thought it was curious when Luplow was thrown in into CF for the 9th

Thank god we won today because Cody Anderson is about to give up 12 runs tomorrow.

This one probably won’t be pretty. 4 solo HR’s today off a good cookie. Maybe he’ll surprise us.

The good thing is, Erik Swanson and his 6.62 era is starting for him, so theres that. Will have to be one of those 12- 10 type victories.

Any chance we call up someone else next time we need our 5th starter? Cant do a bullpen game because we to early in the season to abuse our shaky bullpen. (although been much better than I thought it was going to be, actually its been pretty good)

My guess if he misses any time, its Mercado or Allen up to play everyday CF. I think a lot of the fans wanna see Mercado, but he actually hasn't been hitting as well of late, so not sure if we want to make his MLB debut in the middle of a bad slump or not. Allen actually is seeing the ball well at AAA, so it may end up being Allen's call back up.

Also on a side note, Indians did acquire Adam Rosales from the Twins (he was on a minor league contract) He was a September call up, but sincerely we won't see him unless injuries happen, but a good guy to have.

Anderson won't probably go more than 5 innings/75-80 pitches, so we will see more of the bullpen, but this is his shot to stay in the rotation/be a spot starter on the big team. Right now since they didn't make a move to add Asher or Peoples to the 40 man roster, it is his spot to lose.

Maybe not next time but I imagine Plutko will end up starting games rather soon. He's headed to Cbus first to make a start soon.

Asher Woj has to be considered next time though if Anderson, as we all expect, looks horrific.

The bullpen has only had light duty the last couple days as Bieber and Carrasco have both pitched into the eighth inning. Really gonna need them today, as I doubt Cody Anderson pitches more than the first two or three innings, unless he's somehow perfect through those innings.

Team's also gonna need to find a way to generate offense against Erik Swanson this time around. One run on two hits likely is not going to get it done when they're trotting a powder keg in Cody Anderson out there against an offensively gifted team.

You know its bad when even Rick Manning says something like, "what do we expect from Cody today? No idea"
