I think we will still find a veteran like Clippard or making a trade to be the setup guy, but hopefully Wittgren can stay steady and help us big time out.

One of our biggest issues is the fact anything wrong the pitching staff does will be blown out of proportions especially since our offense is very inconsistent right now. We are all hoping someone steps up into the setup role, which will help define the rest of the pen. I dont care who, just needs to be done.

He gave up 1 run on 2 hits and struck out 2 in 1 full inning of work. Not saying it was a good outing, but for a reliever if this is a bad outing after 5 perfect outings, I am more than ok with that.
