a short recap for those who can't watch right now would be nice. thanks

He looks like the best all-around player out there, at least to me, and there is a lot of NBA talent playing in this game. Off ball dive to the rim for easy points off an out of bounds play, 1-on-1 step-back J late in the clock, 3 as the shot clock was expiring, locking up Gallo, stripping quite a few balls away.

Yeah he looked good. Got 2 steals.
Nothing on the rebounds, though.
But his movement on offense is really smooth and smart. His stroke is really smooth, too. Finished with 12 points, 2 steals, 1 assist, 1 rebound in 34 minutes.

Cedi was the best Turkish scorer in the 80:75 win against Germany with 17 points, 5/8 from the field and 2/4 behind the arc. Got 5 rebounds as well.

So Cedi had 17pts, 5rbs against Germany

It's encouraging that Cedi has been shooting so well from long range in this tourney I thought that his jumper was one of the main weaknesses of his game.

Leaning towards keeping this guy and trying to bringing him over next year as JR insurance.

Too bad he's not on the roster now, it's not like Jefferson is stiff competition for the backup SF minutes

i want him.

i hope he plays for us soon too

So I'm looking at the leaders for scoring in the EuroBasket...a lot of big names, many known in the U.S. from the NBA...the youngest person to appear in the top 40 scorers? Cedi...by nearly 2 years...next closest to him in age is Schroder from the Hawks.

So far, through 3 games, vs Italy, Spain, and Germany (all loaded with multiple NBA players): 12.7 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 1 APG, 1 SPG, 50% from the floor, 40% from 3, 60% from the line...and he has yet to turn the ball over once in 89 minutes of play. This is coming from one of the youngest guys in this tournament. Excited to follow this guy, hope we hold onto him.

And here were his highlights vs Italy with some excited foreign commentary

Edit: Might as well add this as well

This comparison is way over used for international players. But I see a hint of Manu here!

A hint of Cheedy with Manu? Sounds like some good food, however how good is this Cheedy Manu cheese baskeball?

Most exciting go up by 9 with a minute left in the 4th layup ever.

CHEEDY!

It's an apt comparison though because he is sf sized, has the handle, and can shoot a little. That"sick play" looks a lot like Manu. Let's hope he is as talented and not so reckless?

The nice thing about that one on one was that it wasn't overdribbling. The first crossover caused a mismatch he saw it and then took advantage of it

Went for 11 and 9 today in a loss vs Serbia (another team with multiple NBA players/former players/draftees). 5 offensive rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block, only 4/11 from the floor though...still hasn't committed a turnover through 120 minutes played.
