It's only one game but damn, Terrance West looks good. First Browns running back to rush for 100 yards in his debut since Larry Mason in 1987.

My favorite play was the one-yard-gain when he absorbed the hit of a completely unblocked Shazier in the backfield and stayed on his feet to churn out positive yardage. The announcers wrongly celebrated the big stick without acknowledging the power or balance of West.

That play was pretty impressive. I do distinctly remember the announcers commenting on how impressive it was that West stayed upright though, not sure if you just missed it.

Guess I missed it, I was hopping around to other games as well. Just remember a whole bunch of hooting and hollering at the initial contact.
 
Him standing up after that play was more impressive than anything Richardson did his entire short-lived career in Cleveland.

It still doesn't make any sense to me from a physics standpoint. How does that happen?

Shazier fucking laid the wood, too. That was not your everyday hit.

Yeah, man do I love that Trent sucks.
 
Anyone have a link to video the play? Browns do not have it on their site, but I heard several folks talking about it.

Well I didn't expect it happen during the 1st game. :chuckle:

Really good game from West though. His ability to make guys miss is really impressive for a guy his size.
