Watching this guy on tape, he is certainly a pass-rush type guy. Very explosive. Complements Shelton very well.

His visit stood out to me because nobody had talked about this 4-3 defensive tackle playing in a 3-4 scheme. It seemed like his specialty was creating penatration lining up over the guard, avoiding engagement with offensive linemen. In the 3-4, an end does need to shed linemen once they see where the running back is going or get to the quarterback. So, this leads me to believe the Browns see Cooper as a defensive end in passing downs.

The last quality 3-4 end went to Indianapolis a few picks before this one. Cooper can get to a quarterback and he has the necessary mass to play a 3-4, I just wonder if he can defend the run like a true 5 tech end since he had very different responsibilities at Washington State.

They moved him around allot and he did play some end. I love how he played and noticed the screen on several plays.
