No one thought the pressure of a championship would get on the Thunder when they faced the Heat and those cats folded. Maybe I am being too optimistic, but its not unforeseen that the pressure eventually gets to the Warriors, it only takes a little doubt to seep in.

IF and WHEN this series happens, I will never under estimate a LBJ-led team. Who's to say Curry doesn't go ice cold in 1 game? TT doesn't make Green his bitch on the offensive boards? Klay doesn't get frustrated when Shumpert is all up on his ass everytime he tries to shoot?

That's why they play the game, anything can happen. I will tell you, if the Cavs pull this whole thing off....

Don't see how people think we can't beat this team. Kyrie will be playing. No reason to worry about Curry hitting 3s. I would focus on denying his assists, rebound the ball and play tight defense. Who does GS have to box out TT with Moz in the game? Who's coving Lebron. I'm sorry, those being negative are the reason people hate Cleveland. We have as much of a chance as GS to win it all if not more. Who on GS has withstood the pressures of playing in an NBA Finals series? Now look back at the Cavaliers roster, multiple players not only have been in the Finals but won. So let's not get down on ourselves here.

If we play GS, what is their answer to TT?
Exactly. TT will own him on the boards. Moz will own Bogut who is a stiff. The Warriers are soft in many ways. The Cavs are tough both mentally and physically. Delly can check Curry... just watch. He may not stop him but can limit him. Shump will be all over Thompson who won't be able to fit into his own jersey with Shump fitting in it as well. LeBron will be a floater, helping whereever needed.

I don't see the Warriers as all that like some of you think they are.

Just watch.

I wasn't saying that as a confident statement that TT will dominate, but I am legitimately curious how GS will handle TT. He has been the X factor for this playoff run. He is playing at an all star level right now.

For those worried about matchups (specifically, Curry)...what if we just say fuck playing a PG?

Have Shump guard Curry
Have JR guard Klay (or Barnes)
Have LeBron guard Barnes (or Klay)
TT on Green
Moz on Bogut

I doubt Blatt would do it, but those matchups look pretty fine to me.

I just don't want to get embarrassed like the Rockets. At least make the games close and competitive, and don't get swept. Maybe win one or two in Cleveland.

If we face the Warriors we would be facing one of the best teams to ever play the game of basketball

Is there a single man on that roster that has even played in a Finals game? They've been the dominant team all year, no doubt, but they still need to prove they're one of the best teams ever.

As far as Houston is concerned, they should've lost to the Clippers anyway.

Where do I get a pair of those Wine and Gold glasses?

It's pretty simple,

YOU DON'T LEAVE CURRY OPEN.

EVER.

You basically have to track him AT ALL TIMES on the court.

ESPCIALLY IN TRANSITION.

Might even have to double team him (who would have thunk it?). Amazing HOU hasn't tried that yet.

If we do play a PG (Kyrie), why not put him on Barnes or Iggy? I'm not worried about Barnes or Iggy beating us. In fact, I'd dare them too. I'd be happy if they took more shots away from Steph and Klay.

Warriors are a well rounded team and everything, but I'd focus all the effort on shutting down Steph and making everyone else beat you. Don't put Kyrie on Steph for a second. Always trap and double team him every chance we get. I don't think the rest of that team can beat us.

I'm not opposed to that, but idk how healthy Kyrie will be.

Keep running him over and over into picks and physically wear him down. When they switch, get the ball to the player he is guarding and run at him. When they have the ball, throw multiple people at him and rotate like we have against the Hawks. The rotations have been really good on defense in the playoffs.

Not a big basketball mind here, just throwing in my 2 cents worth.
