Rockets would be a waaay better matchup over GS. Healthy this team would be a favourite over both but Love and Andy are gone and you don't really know what'll happen with Irving, he will most likely be hobbled still. To beat GS without Love LeBron and Irving need to play at their best every game

Unless LeBron is going to go god mode Game 5 Detroit / Game 6 Boston in every single game and suddenly turns his broken jumper into GOAT jumper

The rockets made them quit just like we made the bulls quit, they ripped out their souls in game 6 and it carried over to game 7, rockets showed amazing heart and character winning 3 straight gotta give them credit for not giving up.
(don't forget the clippers were a great team eliminating the defending champions ,they were no scrubs...)

I'm picking the rockets over the warriors to reach the finals, this team will be a nightmare for the warriors.

Houston big's will destroy Warriors bigs' on the boards on both ends, josh smith playing out of his mind on both ends will help a lot - Smith/Howard will destroy Green/Bogut imo

Klay Thompson will face his biggest's challenge in the playoffs and that's guarding james harden, that will exhaust him and reduce his effectiveness on both ends

Trevor Ariza good 3&D guy, he is a great long defender and will cause big problems for Harrison barnes

The only clear advantage GSW has is obviously curry vs terry, that will be a slaughter if they left 1 vs 1, I wounder what Kevin Mcale will do with that match up (maybe brewer who is a good quick defender)

Regular season is way way overrated , the playoffs is a new season.
6'3 curry will not be able to carry that team vs a very long and athletic houston squad

Good luck with that, and I give you props for picking Houston and explaining why at least, even if your reasoning is a bit flawed.

Curry doesn't have to carry them. The Warriors are really good, they are really deep. They got a lot of weapons, and lot of guys that can step up.

And the only advantage is Curry? Seriously! This team won 67 games, and is the most well rounded and balance team remaining in the playoffs.

Harden is going to be facing his biggest and most difficult task yet. They are going against the best defensive team in basketball. Klay Thompson is a great defender, that moves his feet really well, and can stay in front of him. He's got a challenge ahead of him going against Klay.

Worst of all, Harden is going to be forced to guard him too, which I don't think he can.

The Houston offense isn't very original or creative, and if they get stagnant against a defensive team like the Warriors, they are in shit load of trouble.

The only true advantage Houston has, is Howard. He can slow the game down, and make it ugly, but you have to trust Howard will dominate, and to me, that's never a given.

If Houston tries to play uptempo, they will get their doors blown off.

I don't like the match up at all for Houston. If they play the way they did against the Clippers (throughout the series), like this against the Warriors, they have no chance.

Their comeback was remarkable, but overall in that series they didn't play very good basketball. Their defense was atrocious.

They got to play very discipline and sound basketball on both sides of the court. Something they don't do a consistent enough basis.

They need a miracle to pull this off. People keep wanting to doubt the Warriors, and they get sick of the media and others slurping over them. Sure, they've not won it all yet, but this team is really fucking good.

It's going to take a lot to take them out. Not sure anyone remaining in the playoffs are going to do it, including us.

I hate Harden and Howard, but I am going to be forced to root for them, given I like our chances against them, much more than the Warriors. But I don't see it happening. So if Houston wins, it'd be fine by me. I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery personally.

What an injury-plagued season. GSW is the only team remaining that has no injuries to their starting five.

No I am not jinxing them, no,no, NO.

With Kyrie at 100% I'd pick us to win in 5. With Kyrie's corpse I'd give us a 60% chance of winning in 6 or at all.

I'm not that scared of the "splash bros" and their cute jumpers.

This would be a very tough series if it is to happen but I dunno, this team just seems to have so much heart and desire and we have the best player on the planet, I cant see us losing, we would find a way.

Call me crazy but I think we can grind out a series over GS. We have the guys to make it tough on Steph and Klay. Our defense has been stellar this post season. We have better shooters IMO than Houston and a better superstar in LeBron. Plus a mentally stronger team. If we get past Atlanta, even with a hobbled Kyrie, I'm optimistic we can beat GS in a 7 game series.

I like how we put down jumpers here as if we're some dominant post team. Guess who shot the second most 3 pointers in the league this season? This team. And Golden State wasn't 1st.

We're a jump shooting team, guys.

Yeah....But ours aren't cute!

Not really any teams in the NBA utilize the post as much as they have in the past. However I do believe that we are tougher down low than GS.

Nope, I've never witnessed JR Smith do some gay shimmy shake after knocking down a 3-pointer like Curry.

Delonte is probably the father of all the remaining players we have to go against this series.

LeBron was making his bones body slamming Drew Gooden in practice, when the rest of the bunch were still popping their pimples getting ready for prom night.

A. Walker still has the best shimmy ever in the league, plus his tippy toe 3s were classic.

Beating the Warriors comes down to being able to handle and match the runs they are going to go on. I think we can match those runs much like Houston has done, that combined with our much better defense ( the rockets) I like our chances.
