The Cavs vs Bulls Series

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Meh... the Bulls are the LeBron haters white knight. They pathetically need some hope to cling to that the Cavs can be beat and the Bulls are their only hope. You notice some of the Bulls hype slowed down after the fiba tournament which clearly showed Kyrie is superior to Rose. At this point Bulls fans better hope Rose is even better than Waiters which I doubt.

Butler over Waiters? Gibson starting at SF? Bulls bench over the Cavs? GTFO.

and he says 34y/o Gasol plays significantly better defense than Love... but for real Taj at SF?? wtf

The biggest issue is that they don't have someone to deal with LeBron, just like the Cavs had none for Mike. They already had a taste of playoff failure back in 2010. And they surely had no chance when LeBron went to Miami.

If that wasn't bad enough, Love has more range than Gasol and Irving is starting to break out over Rose. If we face them in the playoffs, it'll truly be a "taste of their own medicine." It doesn't matter who has a bench, and who doesn't. As long as you have a good amount of legitimate threats, anything is possible.

We'll show those guys how we would've felt in the late 80s/early 90s.

The guy is a basketball coach. He talks about how much he loves Dions skills and mentality. He just gives Butler a slight edge due to defense. It's not like he's the typical national writer who never played or coached who doesn't like Dion for being drafted #4 or by comparing him poorly to chuckles like Marcus Thornton. I think long term Dion will pull clearly a head of Butler but it wasn't a travesty what the guy wrote. Plus, is a comparison piece about the two most talked about teams in the East. He's gotta find one position besides Center to give the Bulls and advantage at.

His opinion that whoever has the home court advantage wins in seven is held by a lot of people. (Not me though, I've got the Cavs in 6)

Give me Marion and Miller in the playoffs over any of the Bulls bench

Gasol's the better rim protector, but his pick&roll defense + perimeter defense the past two seasons was really bad.
Don't know how you can say that he plays "significantly" better defense than Love. That's just not true. But whatever...

We've got the better starting 5. I think the Bulls bench is better than ours though.

I don't even think you really believe what you just wrote...
Why is the Bulls bench better? Is Taj Gibson really any better than Marion? Not to mention Miller, TT, Delly...

This point is been rehashed many times, but I'm not seeing any advantage for Chicago's bench over ours. Dudes like Snell and McDermott aren't intimidating.

LOL

That's some knee slapping hilarity right there. I mean holy hell that's funny.

I think Kirk Hinrich, Tony Snell, Doug McDermott, Taj Gibson/Nikola Mirotic, Nazr Mohammad is better than Delly, James Jones, Mike Miller, Marion, TT. I doubt we'll ever see the two benches really go at it (actually I know we won't) but just based off the individual pieces on each bench I think Chicago pretty easily has the more versatile and capable bench.

And yes...Taj Gibson is better than Marion. I don't even think that's a point that can be discussed. I think most would agree with that statement but they play two different positions so I'm not sure why you brought that specific matchup up.

Taj Gibson?...Lmao settle down

So this is what it has come to for the Bulls...overrating Taj Gibson and claiming a better bench, which in the grand scheme of things is barely relevant.

Yikes. Cavs in 5
