The Cavs vs Bulls Series

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Shaking in my boots off this offensive dynamo.

Eh, Dion has a similarly embarrassing miss the other night. It happens. It's a little harsh to judge someone on missing a bunny. Even Lebron's done it, and he's the best finisher I've ever seen.

I know. I was just playing around. My chance to take a potshot at a divisional rival.

Mirotic looks like the real deal. Lucky for us there are only 2 spots for 4 out of there 5 best players (Gasol, Noah, Gibson, Mirotic aren't playing any other spot then PF and C). Need for AV to stay healthy

Mirotic looked fantastic yesterday. He has high upside. But let's wait a few reg. season games before calling him the real deal. :chuckle:

And I don't even think he will ever play center against us. Chicago will always play one of Noah/Gasol/Gibson to have a rim protector against us.
Play without a rim protecot against our starting five and you don't stand a chance...

Shrug. He's been Spanish league MVP: I doubt barring injury that he won't be at least a productive player. I've been following him for awhile and I had really hoped that we could have gotten his right from Houston before the Bulls traded for him. Basically my a priori was that he was going to be a solid player to begin with and word out of Bulls camp and now pre-season just confirms that.

The Bulls though are a weird team and a lot of things have to pan out for them even if Mirotic is good: all their talent is in their bigs and got big question marks elsewhere (Rose's level post-injury, Butler's offense, McDermott also needs to pan out)

Boy, the Bulls announcers are so annoying with their "NIIIIKOLAAAA" screaming... :bad:

Sheesh...if he's gonna do that, he should at least do it right...

Don't players from the Spanish league usually translate right away u read that somewhere. But if I'm the bulls I'd try and trade Taj and get a wing scorer.
See nikola hitting those 3s like that fir a PF is very good.

Courtesy of, well, you know who...

Reality: Shot 4-12, finished with the 4th most points on the team, and had 1 more assist than Noah.

Da Bulls are no matchup for the Cavs. Washington are our only rivals in the East, with Charlotte and Toronto next in line. I dont see the Bulls get out of the 1st round. And dont get me started on Miami (hint: lottery land).

Expecting Rose to be healthy, and in the dame breath saying Love and Irving are injury prone? Are those the analysts we are listening to?

Not only that, but Gasol has missed plenty of time due to injury over the last few years. 60, 49 and 65 games in the last three years. Dunleavy who started 65 games for the Bulls last year at SF is 34 now and has an injury history as well. Noah has only played 2 full seasons in his career. Same goes for Hinrich who is 33 and has played 73, 60 and 48 games in his last 3 years. They have more to worry about than just Rose.

I don't get why people don't even consider Hawks as an opponent. They took Pacers to game 7 without their best player. They added Sefolosha you can say Horford is an addition too and they have a nice coach who take pride in matchup type strategy and gives value shooting a lot. Their whole offence is build arround shooters and inside the lane drivers in and out etc. They gonna suprise a lot of people.

We're gonna watch these a lot in playoffs their owner may not agree but i believe one of the best dancer groups in the league is there :chuckle:

The Heat would have to be absolutely crushed by injuries to end up in the lottery in the east.

Albeit this may be the wrong thread for it, I see the following teams in front of the Heat:
Cavs, Wiz, Hornets, Raps, Pacers, Bulls, Hawks, Knicks, Nets, and maybe even the Pistons. I'd say that Shabaz Napier needs to be ROY for them to make the playoffs.
