The Cavs vs Bulls Series

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wow i'm lurking the realgm bulls forums and they are so toxic,
before the game they were all praising their team, saying we suck and they are superior.
after the game they all hate their players, rose, coaching staff etc..
I'm shocked
They're as delusional as they come. I've never seen a fanbass so confident after losing twice to us already. The truth of the matter is we're much more talented than them. The way Chicago beats you is by out rebounding you, out hustling you, and by shoing more grit. The Cavs beat them at their own game yesterday. There's so much room for improvement with the Cavs that I just don't see with the Bulls. Noah,Gasol,Gibson, ect...wont be getting any better at this point in their careers. Once the Cavs gel I cant see the Bulls beating them in a series unless Rose stays healthy and channels his inner MJ.

Now you are being just like them, you can't know a potential of a team that early in the season.
The thing is, they were so confident in themselves aand were trashtalking us like crazy thinking they are easily the best in the east.
after the game they started swearing their own team nad saying that they should tank and give up on rose since he's fragile as fuck etc..
what is that attitude?
Also, they kept saying the refs gave us the game, and there was no continuation on Kyrie, both are bullshit.
refs were with them the whole game and it was a continuation the problem is their player stop defending after the whistle, I don't give a fuck, I enjoy it :D

Love won't be able to bully Gasol or Noah in the post as we found out. I think he can take Taj. But if Love has his shot falling, it will be big for us with his ability to take Pau or Noah away from the hoop and make them guard the three point line. That will open it up for LeBron and Kyrie to drive.

And LeBron probably could have had 50 points if he would have got any foul calls. Hopefully that will be a bit more fair next time as well.

Love was getting violated all night.

Chicago was getting the home cooking from the refs big time, Kirk hits 3 straight savior shots and we still won.

I don't think the average Chicago fan knows that we still had Dion in reserve. There's gonna be a game where Dion scores 30+ points. Chicago totally stole the momentum right at the end, and we never flinched, that's what was most impressive about the win.

Love didn't play very well and still grabbed sixteen rebounds. I'll take that.

Jimmy Butler was looking pretty great against Minnesota last night. They get both Butler and Rose healthy for the playoffs and either Mirotic or McDermott gets good, they will be a very deep team.

But the other thing about the game last night is that they *barely* beat Minnesota, in fact if Wiggins doesn't make a rookie error they almost certainly lose that game. So they're not looking very dominant early on, just like we're not.

Butler should have been called for traveling before Wiggins made that mistake.

Many comments made by Bulls fans at the Cavs expense, as a means of explaining why they lost, centered on how absurd it was that Thompson did so well on the boards. It is obvious many of them hadn't watched any Cavs games if they weren't aware that TT is a great rebounder.

I'm sure they'll be as upset if/when Waiters goes off on them.

I would be surprised if Mirotic and Mcdermott play much this year. They are already playing Gasol, Noah, and Gibson a ton of minutes which doesn't leave much room for rookies. Especially in the post season. Was anyone else surprised they chose Gibson over Gasol at the end of our last game.

I have a man crush on Gibson: he's one of the best two way PF's in the league. You just don't see guys who can stay with Lebron after a switch on the perimeter and play tough post defense. Doesn't surprise me at all if he finishes game

It will be interesting on what they decide to do in the 4th: I'd want Gasol in there if you needed a bucket but if you had a to get a stop Noah/Gibson is clearly the better compliment. Is Butler good enough from 3 for spacing if Rose if fully healthy? One reason the Bulls seem to do well w/o Rose is they have other guys who can pick up the scoring but what they haven't shown is that these same guys can score with Rose eating up shots. Very similar situation that we are facing with our Big 3 but the big difference for us they are really good shooters so mixing and matching them is going to be eaiser

Was living in chi when they drafted Gibson. I'm fine with him of the bench because of Gasol. I hated it when Boozer was around because I thought Gibson was better. Not as natural a short but he can hurt you from the post or mid range. He has to be one of the better defenders at pf in the league.
