The Cavs vs Bulls Series

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I have a hard time seeing the Wizards putting up much of a series, let alone beating the Bulls. This is a different Bulls team than the last year's team the Wizards beat.
They might end up with a worse record this year

Every time I try to come up with a reason to be concerned about the Bulls, they go and do something like score just 32 points in the first half against the Heat on TNT.

On 26% shooting.

Maybe Noah really doesn't want to face us after all?

And then they flip the switch. I really hate this years Bulls team, they are impossible to read. With that said, I think this whole coasting thing will come back to bite them in the ass.

Bulls fan, do you really think they're "coasting." Thibs doesn't seem like a guy who would coast. If anything, it seems like the FO is demanding it and Thibs is sort of reluctantly going along with it at times. I just think they've been so banged up they can't develop any consistency.

I don't get why people don't even consider Hawks as an opponent. They took Pacers to game 7 without their best player. They added Sefolosha you can say Horford is an addition too and they have a nice coach who take pride in matchup type strategy and gives value shooting a lot. Their whole offence is build arround shooters and inside the lane drivers in and out etc. They gonna suprise a lot of people.

We're gonna watch these a lot in playoffs their owner may not agree but i believe one of the best dancer groups in the league is there :chuckle:

The players have openly admitted to it this season. Noah and Butler. Maybe a few others, but I remember them mentioning it a few times.

With that said I agree, it's more of a front office thing and Thibs accepting it. Surely one of the reasons there is such a bad relationship between both sides.

You think Thibs is gone this off season? I can see them trading him like Boston did with Doc if the conflict is that bad.

If the Bulls make the conference finals or finals, I think they stick it out for another year. Anything less? Can't see him back. I also don't think they get much in return for a trade. Probably just look to make sure they're off the hook for all the money and then go ahead and hire someone else. Probably Hoiberg :bad::bad::bad:

I think they could...a team like Orlando, who has a lot of young pieces with a lot of defensive potential, would be salivating at a chance to get Thibs. Doc got a 1st from the Clippers, I can see Chicago getting 2 2nds for Thibs.

Yeah maybe 2 2nds, but the relationship is so damaged I can't see them playing hard ball. Definitely not 2 1st rounders or whatever the price was for Doc. It's going to be a huge mistake by Bulls management.

Don't be surprised if a team who doesn't want him to hit the open market and become available to all teams needing a coach makes the Bulls that kind of offer, even with the damaged relationship.

And yeah, it would be a huge mistake, but it also might help the Bulls with their injuries, as a lot of people tie them into Thibs overplaying his players.

We'll see, but I actually don't attribute the injury history to Thibs. Butler's injury this season was on impact, Rose wasn't playing heavy minutes, Noah came from off-season surgery, Taj just keeps rolling the same ankle, etc.. Whatever, he's the scape goat I guess.

Thib's is overrated as fuck. And he's absolutely responsible for running his players into the ground. He's totally derailed all of these guys over the years. Bulls should have moved on already.
