Hammer has got to be the biggest douche of all time. I just hate when the little prick gets to be on espn giving interviews.
 
Agreed with most on here, he sucks pretty bad and his takes are almost always negative on the show.

Anyone remember when he didn't have a date for a wedding he was going to and he and Tony were trying to find him one on the air and the only lady that called in was like 40.

It was priceless.

'Hammer isn't bad by himself just hosting straight up sports talk.

I caught him hosting a weekend slot and it was pretty decent. Fedora or someone was with him and it seemed like it had potential.

That's what people like. People don't tune into 850 to hear Rizzo go on his "I'm not a fan anymore" rant, and then hear them talk about the Cadillac ranch on hours on end. They came to listen to people talk about sports, take some calls on it and maybe the occasional joke.
 
Triple S, I agree and disagree. 850 is a sports talk station BUT Rizzo's show WAS #1 and WAS at it's best when it was 90% silliness/ 10% legit sports take. You could tell from the get go when that little punk started in 2007 he wanted to make it a legit sports show and kill the "fun". IF YOU WANT A LEGIT SHOW THEN START YOUR OWN GOLDJERK. Don't take a successful show, make it start sucking with endless commercials and free food begging, getting rid of all the fun stuff that made your show #1 then try to pass that turd off to us as entertainment.

yea Goldhammer is a douche bag. He is one of those guys everyone went to high school with who didn't know shit about sports and hung around a ton of girls but never got laid. He thinks it's funny and ironic to like shitty music and tell corny jokes. He sucks and makes that show unlistenable.

I only listen on Fridays when Howard Stern is off
