Ballhog, can't shoot, highly overrated defense.

That describes both CJ Miles and Alonzo Gee. Both are terrible at their jobs, both end of the bench players. I might be tempted to say that Luke Walton is our best SF.

I wouldn't mind either one not being on the team tomorrow. Replaceable and could find someone else to play better team basketball.

Yea, it's time for Wayne Ellington to start. He can do something at an NBA level. Alonzo Gee hurts the offense by being on the court, and like Amherst said, his defense is highly overrated.

Gee has a lot of pressure on him with the brick layers in the front court and the swinging gates in the back court. He is tasked with bridging the gap in stretching the floor, while also being tasked with defending the best wing player. a tall task for gees talents. think he's not going to be starting anymore next year. Cavs pretty much need shane battier at the 3. they need an all defense teamer, and a three point shooter.

Rather, they need an offensive threat starting. Right now, there's no floor spacing, but I suppose it would be better if there was a Paul Pierce-type out there at small forward (yeah, I said it, so shoot me). Alonzo was much better early on, but he doesn't have the stamina to play such heavy minutes. This was proven from the lockout shortened season. He needs the bench role as a 8th man. It would be good to get a consistent, shooting, scoring threat to take the load off Kyrie. You know, Tristan is kind of starting to do that somewhat, you know?
