That's a good point. Andy is going to annoy a lot of opponents and get under there skin this year. His hustle is one thing when you're on the opposing team and winning, I'm sure its much more annoying when you're losing.

Varejao looked great vs. USA last night. Besides the awful missed dunk, he was flying around all over the place and playing some great P&R offense.
 
We just need to limit his minutes and hope for the best. I see him and TT splitting the time at C. We really don't need AV to contribute much on the offensive end, aside from rebounding.

Most championship teams have the dirty-work type player and AV, when put in that role, is the best in the league at it. Outwork everyone, provide energy 100%, fight for every rebound, and on occasion get an easy look offensively.

My hope is that TT realizes this is his new role on this team as well and can actually learn a thing or two from AV. No need for that wonky looking jump shot anymore. Just get in the paint and bang.
 
Andy is great in 20 minutes

We should limit him to that for the regular season, let TT play the rest.

Come playoff time, you put TT to the bench and play the grown man who can play the game right

His ability to run baseline and finish a layup with either hand, on each side of the basket is uncanny.

I think people are remembering too much of his injuries, and forgetting how masterful he and LeBron ran a two man game. Andy and Kyrie's two man game was also highly respectable.

When we had Andy the last time, he couldn't even hit an elbow jumper. He's more than comfortable, and he's actually now proficient at shooting the elbow jumper.

In terms of knowing exactly when to roll, or exactly when to flare out, or when to hand a pass off to someone slicing behind him.... Anderson is one of the best.

I'm most excited to see the IQ and interior passing between Anderson Varejao and Kevin Love.

Yeah it's crazy. We have a very skilled/high IQ frontcourt with Love/Andy. They can do it all. Score inside, shoot, rebound and pass.
We will have an absolute monster offense, tbh.
 
YEs there is definately a difference in injuries on a losing team and a winning team and its doubtful he gets another blood cot type thing going on and in that case it didnt matter how much you played him.
