Andrew Wiggins

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: #1: Andrew Wiggins - G/F - Kansas University

Yes, i've seen Andrew Wiggins spin move, he completes about 5 spin moves a game regardless of his position on the floor while picking up his dribble. This has got to me my favorite one. He tries to split two defenders with a spin move, picking up his dribble 20 feet away from the basket. Miraculously he got fouled, but that was a head scratching decision to say the least and probably should have been a travel. What were his options here had he not been fouled or have fallen to the ground? He could have taken an extremely off balanced jump shot, a ridiculously far floater, or maybe a pass that probably would have resulted in a turn over?

Believe me, i am aware of Wiggins college highlights and that is why i am excited about his potential. You said that he doesn't provide highlight dunks and that dunk in SL was about as athletic as they get from a flat (after a spin move) stance. That is what i was refuting.

He isn't going to rely on the spin move when playing with Lebron and KI. Why? He will never have the ball in his hands. I was simply stating that his athleticism is shown in many highlights, regardless of his bad handles.

Re: #1: Andrew Wiggins - G/F - Kansas University

Anybody heard any news regarding Wiggins' contract? I thought it was supposed to be signed yesterday. Maybe it was done quietly because of the expected trade. Maybe there were delays.

Things are quiet..a bit too quiet.

Re: #1: Andrew Wiggins - G/F - Kansas University

You know, tens of thousands of young men do that every year at his age when they join the military, and get paid less than 1% of what he does. They go to boot camp, follow-on schools, etc., and have to live out of a seabag for a few years.

boo-freaking-hoo.

man, GTFOH with those oranges when people are talking about apples.

I do think that there is something disrespectful with the way Wiggins has been promoted by the team and the genuine excitement of him coming here, only with this cloud hanging over head.

All of this mess coming up just screams "classic Cleveland sports team front office".

"oh, we have LeBron now, bye..."

Outside of RCF, very few Cavs fans want Wiggins to be traded, even those converted LeBronies.
Go on the Cavs Facebook page. any time anything about Wiggins is posted, there about 3500 "KEEP WIGGINS" messages, and 2 by some douchewipe that thinks it's funny to post Miami Heat championship banners and pictures of Pat Riley.

I'd like to be wrong about this, but I went from being cautiously optimistic to being hopeful to be begrudgingly happy with whatever happens.

hopefully they keep him.

Re: #1: Andrew Wiggins (signed)

About DAMN time. Never understood the wait. So relieved that we won't be trading him as $0 value.

Or maybe they never intended on putting Wiggins in the deal like they have already said publicly.

Re: #1: Andrew Wiggins (signed)

Have fun in Minnesota Wiggins.

Re: #1: Andrew Wiggins (signed)

The wait allowed us to investigate signing a few other guys while still under the cap and also allowed us to trade for the Utah guys while under the cap so that at least 2 of them can be included in any trade packages right away rather than the typical 60 day wait to trade players in aggregate after receiving them in a trade.

Re: #1: Andrew Wiggins (signed)

We will be sorry we traded him. When Love buckles under the adversity or gets hurt in the ECF, and Wiggins is passing Paul George and Carmelo. When Love is exposed repeatedly in the playoffs as Boozer has time and again, we will wish we had our Wiggins back. When he becomes the best wing defenders in the league, and Lebron has lost a step, we will wonder if we could have won even one, while the amazing rebounder talks about his rehab, and how next year he won't be wearing a suit.

Seriously, Wiggins is the type of guy who rarely gets injured. He is too graceful. I just remember how we were dying to get Lebron his Pippen, and after all this shit, after all this garbage that has gone on, he is in the palm of our hands, and we will trade him away for scoring and rebounding. It has disaster written all over it.

I was really looking forward to Wiggins growing into the 3, Lebron sliding to the 4, and Kyrie and Dion manning the guard spots. AV would hold out until he has to come off the bench, and we would use our other resources to get a 5 somehow. Instead we will spend all our assets on the 4 position where it is more important to have a defender than a scorer. This will be the 2nd #1 overall we have paid for the 4, after already spending a #4 overall on it. 1 double double machine, another guy with what they say is big potential, but keep throwing our resources down the pf hole. It's not like there is an important defensive position that is one injury prone vet deep at the moment.

Whether people realize it or not, flexibility was what sunk the Heat. They didn't have any. We are dumping ours by the boatload right now. 3 max contracts, especially 2 that will likely be more than supermax because they are signed right when the revenue stream goes up will hurt even Dan Gilbert. It's worth it to have a chucker at the 4 who makes a lot of his chucks.

The dog dropped its bone in the water because it tried to steal the bone from the mouth of the dog staring back up at him from the pool.
