Annual RCF Rate My Team/Who to Play Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah that was my feeling to. The only problem with bell is that he's only scored 1td and that was week 1. I'm torn bergen l between bell and Mccoy. I don't like fortes match up vs Carolina

He is playing fucking Jacksonville.

Why don't you freaking trade these backs for a stud WR so you don't have to think about it?

I started playing FanDuel about 3 weeks ago. Put in $10, up to $16. I am not playing crazy high bets. If you play in the $5 buy-in, 100 person league (believe almost all are 100 person leagues, standard) the top 50 people win $9.

Question about it?

In my $5 league this week, I have:

Hoyer - $5,800
Forte - $8,700
Bell - $8,600
Jeffery - $7,500
Maclin - $7,600
Crabtree - $6,700
Kelce - $5,300
Suisham - $4,800
CLE D - $4,800

I keep flipping between Maclin and K.Benjamin. I feel the Browns are going to come out flying off their bye week against TN so I have high hopes on Hoyer/DEF. I had $200 to spare. Doesn't mean shit I believe, but didn't find a need to upgrade any spot.
Ahh ok, I'm on DraftKings. I was going to look into starting an RBF daily league. IDK if it's even possible but figured it would be fun to just have a .25 league or something for those that arent in the RBF and still wanna compete.

Pick 2 of 3 for this week:

Cordarelle Patterson vs Packers
Arian Foster vs Cowboys
Andre Johnson vs Cowboys

Not sure who to play in the flex this weekend. Kelvin Benjamin, Victor Cruz, or Justin Forsett. Not a PPR league.

10 team 1 ppr being offered Quick and Ball for Julius and Stacy. I have Donnell on the bench so I will still have a top 10 TE if I accept.

Thoughts?

Quick has some upside as the #1 guy on his team but is in a terrible offense. Guys like that are tough to rely on. Ball has been a major disappointment and I felt he was overrated all off-season. I don't love either of those players.

I do love Julius Thomas and I like Stacy.

I'd offer him Donnell and Stacy instead of Thomas and Stacy.

Guy offered me Demarco Murray for Antonio Brown straight up, non PPR. I feel like at the end of the season production will have been similar enough that this is a trade just to trade, which I'm generally not a fan of doing. Plus Demarco is the greater injury risk based on history.

Anyone wanna talk me out of that?

They're points are about identical right now, and I think Brown will remain more consistent by virtue of being literally the only good WR in Pittsburgh. He's the safety valve. Ben can toss up a ball and he's probably going to catch it.

Murray has been great, but he is definitely a bigger injury risk and I don't think it's humanly possible for him to sustain the touches he's been getting without getting murdered out there. The Cowboys are going to have to dial him back at some point. He'll still be an elite RB, but I just don't see him putting up the absurd numbers he's been putting up on a weekly basis as the season wears on.

The only way I'd do it is if I had a couple other elite WRs and sucked at RB, in which case it would make sense.

By the way, special thanks to Eddie Lacy for showing up last night from my bench!

He has Cameron so I don't think he will budge unless he's upgrading his TE spot.

Personally, I think you'd be getting the two worst players in that deal. Ball has plenty of upside, and Quick is solid, but Thomas is the second-best TE in the NFL and a consistent scoring threat, which is a major boon at a position with shitty depth. Similarly, I think Stacy will be a solid RB2/flex this year. He started off a little rough, but so have a lot of guys. He'll probably get a lot more work than Ball too due to the Rams' lack of a solid passing game.

lazy analysis is lazy.

The Rams have a top 10 passing attack in terms of YPG, 2nd in completion % and top 10 in Yards/Attempt.

Do you trust that to continue throughout the season? I don't.

Regardless, I'm just saying that I'd rather have Stacy and Thomas than Ball and Quick. Donnell had an amazing game last week, but I don't think he's going to be better than Thomas this year based on one game. I think he'll be solid, and he'll get red zone looks, but Thomas is a guy you can start every week and expect results. I'm not there with Donnell yet. I am starting him in two leagues, but only because my draft philosophy dictates that I either get a top-tier TE (basically Graham and Thomas going into the drafts this year) or wait until much later to grab one.

The question isn't will Donnell out perform Julius, because I think we all know the answer to that. Would you agree that having two top ten TE's is a bit redundant on your roster? Especially if you have Donnell just sitting on your bench?

The question I'm asking is who has more upside the ROS, Ball or Stacy? Personally, I think it's Ball.
