Annual RCF Rate My Team/Who to Play Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ditto. Was hoping that I could nab him at 2nd in the WW, but nope. In my other league, someone picked him up Sept 24th.

My team sucks so bad....

QB Stafford/Romo (just picked up Romo as per someone's suggestion here)
RB Lynch/McKinnon/Bush/DeAngelo Williams/Antone Smith (just picked up Smith because I had a spot open...)
WR D Thomas/Garcon/Crabtree/Marvin Jones (maybe hopped on Marvin Jones a bit early)
TE Gronk/Reed
D/ST Panthers/Colts (picked up Colts for this week, hopefully Foster doesn't tear them a new one)
K Tucker

I have one good/great player at every position but that's literally it :( Blowing high draft picks on Bush (4) and Garcon (5) killed me, and Stafford is really killing me.

Now some tough decisions in the league I'm actually doing good in...(PPR)

Newton vs. Hoyer
Joique Bell vs. Helu
Donnell vs. Dwyane Allen (f Dwyane Allen, he gets like three catches a game but always gets a touchdown, I can't get rid of him)

Picked up Prater in a few leagues since he signed in DET yesterday.

That leg + indoors = :celb (7):

Was offered tom Brady Steve smith and Darren sproles for Matt forte. Think I'm going to pass. Although I wouldn't mind Brady because Stafford has been playing shitty all year but Brady has been bad up until last week.

I would start cam bell and Allen

That's a horrible trade. Keep Forte and send a LOL Good Try decline message.

My thought exactly. I offered the guy forte for Marshal and he said no

Then he's dumb. I have Marshall in one league and would do that trade in a heartbeat.

Picked up Austin Davis. Has been hot the last couple of weeks am I crazy for starting Davis over Stafford especially with Johnson being out ?

My other QB is Luck who I've been starting every week, and who also has the same bye week as Rivers. I've basically been holding onto Rivers with the thought that is Luck somehow goes down to a season ending or long injury, I don't really miss a beat with Rivers, as opposed to taking a big hit picking someone up from the waiver wire if I trade Rivers.

My current TE is Heath Miller, I picked him up this week.

I also feel like I can get more for Rivers than Gronk, who hasn't been putting up insane numbers and may get worse if Brady really is starting to decline.

So no advice on this one?

You don't trade the #1 fantasy player and you don't assume injuries will happen. Trade Rivers.

and what is ROT Fivethous?

Thanks. I guess my bigger question was, is just Gronk really worth the number 2 player in overall points in our league? Shouldn't I be able to get something better for him?

Results Oriented Thinking

To translate it for your response, you took a one game sample size and used that for proof that your argument was correct.

Well, you used a one-game sample size to assume that Donnell was a top ten TE.

Wrong, until that 3td game he was averaging 6 catches for 60 yards and also had a TD.

Combine that for Eli's love of the TE in NY and it wasn't hard to see those numbers weren't unsustainable.

The 3TD game really had nothing to do with it. It was more the fact that 12 points from a TE in a 1ppr league is still above average in most leagues.

Are they as dominant as a Thomas or Gronk? No, but they still allow me to have a weekly advantage.
