Annual RCF Rate My Team/Who to Play Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Thanks guys, I'm going to pull the trigger. I can survive with a stable of WR2's until Johnson is back, and Ellington gives me RB consistency.

*Tips hat*

Just got offered a pretty tempting trade. .25 PPR, everything else is standard. I'm leaning towards accepting it, but I just wanted to make sure my love for Andre isn't clouding my judgement. What do you guys think?

Incoming: Andre Ellington, Jordy Nelson

Outgoing: Arian Foster, Randall Cobb

Damn, that's tough. Honestly that is a pretty fair trade. Foster rushes way more but Ellington can make it up with his receiving yards. He only gets like 4-6 receptions a game, so that is only 1-1.5/pts for that. Nelson gets more receptions and is his go to guy, but Cobb has been playing pretty much lights out (fantasy wise) besides 1 game.

The only thing you have to worry about is if Cobb will continue to play like this. If not, I would switch. If you think he will, I would hold tight.

I would hold tight. Arian Foster also has an easier schedule.

I'm doing that, Jordy is an absolute stud, .25ppr doesn't make a huge difference so I think ellington and foster (just a tad better) are similar enough in that format. Jordy >>>> Cobb

Oh yeah, I definitely prefer Jordy to Cobb. It's not all that close either. I can't imagine Cobb will keep scoring at this rate. And I worry about Foster staying healthy. Same concern for Ellington though.

I think I'm going to accept it. My love for Andre is the tie breaker.

Just pulled the trigger on a big trade for me.

Ended up giving up Wes Welker, Andre Johnson, and Jordan Reed for Greg Olsen and Eric Decker.

My starting line up is now:

QB: Russell Wilson
RB: Demarco Murray
RB: Arian Foster
WR: Demaryius Thomas
WR: Eric Decker
TE: Greg Olsen
FLEX: Marshawn Lynch

K: Blair Walsh

DEF: Bills

I see no reason why I shouldn't be competing for a title this year now. Only downside is now if anyone on my team gets hurt I'm completely fucked. Basically just put all my chips in the pot.

what do you guys think the value of Ronnie Hillman is? I have him on my bench behind Forte, Murray, and Ellington. I want to trade him, but I think he's worth way more than everyone else is thinking right now. I expect the starter job to be his even when Ball is healthy.

I'm looking to trade him for a WR straight up, PPR. Who would you accept Hillman for? Is Maclin aiming way too high? Because I'm skeptical of even sending that offer out there even though there is probably no chance it gets accepted. Some people are desperate for RBs, have 4/5 quality WRs, and are desperate for wins this week.

I would say Maclin is aiming too high. I can't see you getting more than someone like Vjax for Hillman right now. If I were you I would wait a few weeks. I think he has a big game tonight and his stock will sky rocket.

Question about my stupid fucking 6 team league. Tate, Oliver or McKinnon at my flex? I wanna go Oliver because I love watching him play but the matchup is tough. And Tate and McKinnon both have great matchups.

Thanks for the input. I guess waiting is the best, but if he doesn't have a good game tonight, the value goes way down. I do think he has a huge game tonight though. I'm just afraid the closer we get toward Ball's return, the more his value will decline.

Regarding your league, your team sounds like mine in one league. I have Tate (assuming Ben), Oliver, McKinnon, and Hillman. Currently I have Tate on the bench, granted it's 0.5 PPR. I really have no idea what I would do non-ppr. You really can't go wrong playing Oliver or Tate. Tate seems like a safe bet for a score and some good yardage.

Pick two, non-PPR:
LeSean McCoy @ Ari
Ben Tate vs Oak
Brandon Oliver @ Ari
Tre Mason @ KC

Pick one, non-PPR:
DeAndre Hopkins @ Ten
Wes Welker vs. SD
Mike Evans vs. Min

This is a 3WR, 2RB league. Julio and Dez are my other two WR starters.

Also, Palmer or Foles? I've got Palmer in right now but honestly it seems kind of like a wash to me.

Is anybody able to post Matthew Berry insider article?

I think it's ridiculous that people are even considering sitting McCoy - not just you - I've seen it done in several leagues. You start McCoy every week without hesitation.

Jack I would start Tate and mason. I don't like the Arizona matchup for McCoy although if sproles is indeed out McCoy will get all the carries. I would go with welker.

Yeah, I know. He's just been killing me this year and that starts to grate on you after a while. :chuckle:

For the record, the guys I have in at starter right now are McCoy and Tate, with Hopkins being my third WR at present.

I would go with tate. The browns have the easiest matchup and i like Tate.
