Annual RCF Rate My Team/Who to Play Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Graham gives you a huge advantage over the opponents tight end. I think it was like 4 points in standard scoring on average. That allows you to take him and draft a slightly "less" talent at another spot.

I could give a shit about an advantage over another person's TE. It is just about the possibility for points. And I believe Cooks will take some away Graham. No doubt Graham will have a good year, but I don't think he will be as good as last year. I would rather wait for Cameron, Ertz or even Ebron later on and stockpile WR's/RB's. With the way I draft I guess I just don't put too much into TE's. Like I said, I get at least 6pts out of my TE (no ppr) I am a happy camper.

I have another draft coming up on Monday. Any suggestions on what to do in the late late rounds besides kicker and defense and Josh Gordon? Super sleeper guys. I will probably end up dropping half these guys anyways.

Don't know when West is going but Crowell? If you are pretty set on RB's why not pile him for a bit, see how Tate does. John Browns from Cardinals. Christine Michael from Seahawks. If Lynch goes down (a lot of miles) then he should step up and beast.

Just a general word of advice...take it or leave it since I'm not playing against any of you:

The WR and QB positions are as deep this year as in any other year in recent memory. The RB and TE spots are where you are going to separate yourselves due to scarcity. After the top 10 or so RBs there is a huge drop off. After the top 4 TEs there is one as weell. Draft accordingly.

Mark your rankings into tiers and don't stray from them.

Who would you rank as your top 4 TE's then...

Graham, Gronk, Thomas, and, despite the preseason, Jordan Cameron.

I agree the very top TE's are going to actually produce more than say, whoever the fuck the Jaguars TE is. But I wouldn't call it a huge dropoff. I would be pretty happy to "wait" on my TE and pick up Vernon Davis, Witten, Bennett, Rudolph, Olsen, Ertz, Ebron, than grab Graham in the 1st.

Just my opinion, though.

Anyone have that picture of David Griffin photoshopped to him giving the middle finger during a presser? It was posted in the Lebron Safari and its 1000+ pages... I wanna use it as my team pic in my league with all miami kids. Team name: Griffin Force

Just got back home from drafting in my 10 man work league. PPR, I had first pick again this year.

Colin Kaepernick - 14th

Jamaal Charles - 1st
Arian Foster - 4th
Ryan Mathews - 7th
Joique Bell - 8th
Ray Rice - 9th
Pierre Thomas - 12th

Julio Jones - 2nd
Brandon Marshall - 3rd
Randall Cobb - 5th
Emanuel Sanders - 10th
Kendall Wright - 11th
Terrance Williams - 13th

Jordan Cameron - 6th
Kyle Rudolph - 15th

Mason Crosby - 16th

Patriots D - 17th

This was my second year playing FF. I think I drafted much better than last year. I had no idea what I was doing honestly. I had a game plan this year and I stuck to it no matter how other people drafted. Last year my plan was to take a QB late but they started flying off the board fast. I think I'll at least make the playoffs this year.

Rate me please.

8 Team, std scoring except 6 pt passing TD's, 2 pt 40 yd passing TD, -1 pt sacks. QB/WR/WR/WR/RB/RB/TE/QB-WR-RB-TE/K/DEF

QB: Luck/Newton/RG3
WR: Dez/AJ Green/Cobb/White/Edelman
RB: McCoy/Spiller/Martin
TE: Reed
K: Bailey
DEF: Denver

Not sure I really like Cam here- not much of a passing threat and -1 pts for sacks hurts him a lot. RG3 should do well with all his weapons.

I would have held off on drafting a 3rd QB for another RB. You're a little thin there for an 8 man league. Your receivers are solid. Reed has concussion concerns but should have a decent year if he can stay on the field.

7/10, only because I think your RB depth with be your downfall. Especially if McCoy goes down.

9/10, that's a stacked team for a PPR league. Your depth is impressive, Pierre Thomas in the 12th round and Kendall Wright in the 11th are highway robbery.

In short...you're team is pretty awesome. I have to really nit pick to find anything wrong...maybe WR depth? Your kicker sucks? Dunno.

Well done.

Solid team, as it should be for a 10 teamer (I don't even bother posting my 8 team league keeper roster because it is ridiculous). Not sure who is hanging out on waivers, but it's silly not to draft a backup QB, especially when you have one that tends to run a lot. Otherwise, your RB depth is solid, but a lot of question marks after Charles.

14 players per team? That's a short bench. As with any 8 teamer, your team should be awesome. My guess is there are roughly 7 other awesome teams as well. My opinion? You have one too many QBs and one too few TEs.
