Yanni walks into a sake bar and sits next to Nicky. She says, "I've been here so long I will screw anyone, anywhere, doesn't matter if you are white, black, mocha, or a rhino."

Yanni says, "I'm glad you said that, we have a new opening at the used car sales floor."

:chuckles: I actually tend to agree about the aesthetics of Toyotas. Most look pretty bland, they're trying to shape up though. The 2014 Highlander is actually pretty nice, Rav looks better after the re-design in 2013. The 4 Runner and trucks are all really nice too. Sedans? Meh, don't really have anything to appealing to my demographic which is why I went with a Scion. The Camry is getting redone in 2015, looks like it will be nicer. We'll see.

Toyotas aren't sold on appearance though, they're sold on the dependability and quality.

All a Scion is is a Toyota with a body kit on it....

To each their own, I drove the scion a lot before buying and have no problems with visibility and it handles great. Hyundai's are nice cars too, they've definitely done a great job with their styling.

What Scion did you get?

Anyway, I drive a 2010 Corolla. Had 60 on it when I bought it in November 2012, has about 83 on it now. I just want it to get me through the next 3.5-4 years then when I graduate I'll probably get something new assuming I get a good job. Should have no problem getting four more years out of it.

Come back to me in a year when I have a real job...but seriously.

Since you have those brands on lock down, if anyone is looking for a Mazda or Ford, I can assist there. I am in Lorain county.

I may be in the market for a new car very shortly. I'm looking at the Mazda 6, Ford Fusion, Honda Accord, and maybe the Hyundai Sonata. What deals do you guys have going on right now?

If we're talking new- Go Hyundai- they have that 100,000 warranty if you get it new. If you get it used, it's only up to 60,000 miles. This will be the same deal if you went with Kia. Mazda, if I'm not mistaken only goes to 36,000. I do love the look of Mazda, but if this is just for a lease, I suppose you can't go wrong. I've never been a fan of the Accord, but that's just my opinion on it.

Thanks. Yeah it's for a lease, we're trying to pay for a wedding and save for a house, so a lease seems a little more economical right now.

Honestly I'd start off just looking for the car you like. Most cars these days are reliable enough that you don't really need to concern yourself with who has the best warranty. Hyundai does, admittedly, have the best warranty on the market right now but that's because they also don't make the same quality vehicle that most other brands do. They are beautiful cars though and the quality has been getting better as of late.

Warranty is really the least important factor right now, especially if you're considering a lease. Most leases last 2 or 3 years these days, if you have a problem with your car before that then there's a real problem. Also basically every dealer offers extended warranties these day.

I work for a Toyota dealership, but my company is pretty large and represents several different makes. You can come to me for a Toyota, Honda, Chevy, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, or Audi.

PS. I just got a board member a great deal on a Rav 4 lease today. Just ask Kevinoc0. If you come to me through the board I can essentially get you a deal right at dealer invoice (our cost for the car) just by claiming you as a friend of mine.
