I'm so pumped up about this hire. Just seeing what he did this season has me excited about what he can do next year. He is a hard worker and everyone loves him.

For what its worth, that team draws a ton of similarities to this years squad. This year's has more talent for the future than they did in 2007, but they want 10-6 largely on the back of a weak schedule that really got them going down the stretch.

This team should have beaten Pittsburgh twice, should have beaten New Orleans, and were a play away from sweeping the Ravens. Our worst performance was against the Chiefs when we were hit by crippling injuries on defense.

This team didn't just look good against weak teams.

Something that stood out to me about Freddie - long before we ever knew he'd become HC - was his brief highlight on Hard Knocks.

Few probably remember that he prompted the discussion in the coaches meeting that the players need to man the fuck up and practice through bumps and bruises. He was promptly rebuked by Hue as were Todd and others.

Dorsey is well-respected throughout the league, Freddie is very well-liked, and the team is on a huge upswing. Put it all together, and Cleveland may finally be a place where free agents want to come and play.

What an untenable position by Jackson, followed by resounding arrogance after Haley attempted to diffuse the situation by discussing a positive.

It would be awesome if the Browns did another Hard Knocks. I know no team has gone twice much less twice in a row. But it would be so interesting to see how different things are this time around under Kitchens. I think it would make for fantastic television.

Cincinnati has done it twice.
