Cavs need the full 20 allowed at training camp to balance out the players who will be getting heavy rest and monitoring. Daye is a pro who helps with that, hopefully is willing to play at Canton while things sort out, and becomes insurance against injury to either James Jones or Richard Jefferson.
He went through the Spurs system after looking like a positionless NBA player, and playing for Pops is usually the best way to figure out what a role player should be. Approved move.

Was horrible on every team he's played for. Detroit, Toronto and San Antonio. If he can somehow connect the dots and actually use his height to his advantage, he could actually be a contributing member of a team. I just don't see that happening.
