Avengers: Infinity War spoiler thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Vision got Fucked Up...twice...damn

Strange vs Thanos was just a damn pleasure to watch(that photographic memory has the doctor quite powerful).

The GotG fit right in with their trademark humor.

Thor looking like a God again

Starks nano suit

Cap laying his 90 year old super dick on Sec Ross:chuckle:

Loved InfWar

Agreed from a marketability point they will have to make Spider-Man antman and black panther central and hopefully keep strange around although cumberbatch is hard to tie down I would think

Cumberbatch most likely signed the standard 6 film deal (cameos don’t count), so he’ll be the one leading the Avengers in the next phase.

Dr. Strange, Spiderman, Black Panther, Star Lord and Captain Marvel could all be "lead" Avengers. Maybe Pratt is near the end because GOTG 3 will be his 5th film.

Saw this on Thursday but just haven't had time to discuss -- but thought it was great.

No complaints really.. I mean, I could nitpick but, I was very pleased with the movie overall. 9.5/10

I think this movie was very very well done, and probably a perfect adaptation to the big screen of the source material... In the next film, I wonder if they'll expand on the carnage as they do in the Infinity Gems series...

I also wonder about Nebula... will be interesting to see how they play that out.. :)

I usually don’t watch stupid ass movies such as this — however saw it yesterday and was mildly impressed..

Zoe Saldana is my soulmate so obviously seeing her get tossed over the mountain was tough — even tho she was green (wtf was that about?)

“I’m here to kick names and take asses”

It was hard to imagine this movie avoiding clusterfuck status with all the characters and different set pieces involved, but they somehow pulled it off - and masterfully at that. And it somehow managed to be genuinely funny while having a pretty dire tone throughout.

Thanos was fucking incredible.

The earlier Thor movies were all pretty forgettable, but they've really elevated the character to another level since Ragnarok, and he really shines in Infinity War. His entrance to Wakanda was some of the most badass shit I've seen on film. Him, Rocket, Groot and giant Dinklage restarting the dying star forge....the most bizarre grouping of characters, and yet it just works so well.

The Maw, also great. That dude by himself would serve as a better standalone villain than 90% of other comic villains. Wish we got more of him, but his end was another one of my favorite scenes.

My only minor gripe is how much of a bitch Mark Ruffalo was. Not that I have a problem with his internal conflict with the Hulk after getting punked by Thanos and the general low T issue, but the way he played it just came off as pathetic.

Just saw it, liked it a lot, had a lot of fun. Ending was gut wrenching but I'm glad it wasn't Iron Man or Cap.

That said I just got home, came straight to this thread, as someone who doesn't know anything about the comics or anything...these heroes are all coming back right?!

Considering basically all the ones that died are the ones still under contract, probably.

Well, I know guys like BP will have more movies, but I don't know ,thought maybe they would do like stories that take place before this movie or something.

Obviously I want those guys back, but it also cheapens the "deaths." Whatever, it's a superhero movie.

Personally, I thought this movie should have ended with Thanos beating Captain America to death. Would have been a much better moment than killing off a dozen characters who will probably all be back.

Yeah, I agree. When Stark got stabbed I was sure he was a goner, and as my favorite hero I was pretty broken up at that moment. But of course he lives. When they said heroes would die I kind of expected actual deaths, not a plot device that could easily be explained as reversible in the next movie, but it was still crazy to see I suppose.

Look for Tobias Funke when they go to see the Collector.

Also, at the end, see if Thanos has a scar or gaping wound in his chest. It looked like he was limping a little but I don't recall seeing any wounds.

His left arm was charred-up a bit as well as part of his face but there was no evidence of a chest wound.
