Baron Davis appreciation thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
will you give him a standing ovation when he reurns to cleveland? what about if it is as a member of the heat?

Baron Davis gave this team something priceless when the team was hitting rock bottom. Hope.

Always loved how he steps up in big games, you can't teach that. Knicks will be lucky to have him come playoff time.

And after being shat on by the owner of his former team (including being harassed courtside, at actual games), he didn't lash out about that situation, he kept quiet about it, mature, came in to Cleveland, and gave this team more than anybody imagined on the floor. He made teammates better, and reminded some of our guys how to win.

Most of all, with his body breaking down and him not moving like he once did, he showed that some of the best basketball in the world is the result of a higher intelligence on the court, not just superior athleticism. (and Dallas showed the same thing last summer).

Now we can all appreciate him a little more:

Davis to sign with the Knicks. Suck it south beach.

Knicks have the formula to possibly give Miami a whole lot of problems come playoff time. If they play good interior D and focus on pounding the ball inside, with baron dishing... oh who am I kidding. No D'Antoni team has ever played defense, and he'll probably run Amare into the ground come playoff time.

I read somewhere about Amare talking shit about getting Davis because he was injured and he didn't want to see the Knicks go after injured players. Made me crack the hell up as that guy has never been healthy

Used to be in my Hate 5 just for playing for GS along with his stupid beard and reactions. Thanks, Baron! I <3 you from now on.

At least the Knicks hired former Hawks head coach Mike Woodson as an assistant for D'Antoni. He'll be their "defensive coordinator", so to speak.

He has never left a franchise with so many good feelings I think. I am happy for him. Watching that 11 point run makes me wish we still had him. I hope Kyrie can develop that sort of swag.

Dear Baron,

Thankyou for not signing with the Heat.

Your devoted fan when you are not being a team cancer,

Douglar
