Battlefield 3

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Downloading now...will give my reaction after a little while.

EDIT: So far I feel the same about it as I did BC2...it's just not fun. Emphasis on camping, the guns suck, just not an enjoyable game. Tries to be too realistic, but I want to have fun, not crouch in a corner and wait for passerby's. Thankfully this made my decision for MW3 way easier.

You don't have to play like that.....you just don't know how to play the game because you are probably used to the arcade style of COD. I don't camp on battlefield, I actually get alot of kills. COD isn't even realistic at all.

Never mind, just got in with my squad and am enjoying this thoroughly. This is probably all I'm going to play today.

Oh God. Not another fanboy war.

I've only played for about an hour since I had to work. It's pretty buggy but I had a real good time. They should have picked a map with some vehicles since that was Battlefield is all about.

I wish they could have put in at least 2 maps for a little variety, but all issues aside (such as getting into a game with your squad intact) I'm having a blast with this game.

PC beta gets Caspian Border soon. So damn jealous.

This game is shit, sorry. And this is coming from someone who enjoyed BC2. Further solidifies my purchase of the Hardened Edition of MW3.

I'm not trying to start a Battlefield vs. Call of Duty war here...I'm just pointing out that I enjoy the quick paced, kill-a-lot-die-a-lot style of Call of Duty over what seems to be a more slow paced, try to outsmart your opponent style in Battlefield.

I agree...I just can't get myself to have fun playing it for some reason.

For as buggy as this beta has been in terms of the matchmaking, it's still a major breath of fresh air for those of us that are used to Call of Duty.

I think I finally found a good use for my Black Ops disc, other than using it as a coaster. Now I have something to trade in towards BF3. It's a shame that that game is so bad that I'm trading it in almost a month and a half before MW3 comes out, and I honestly don't think I'm going to even touch the next Treyarch installment. I didn't think it was possible to fuck up a formulaic game, but that's Treyarch for you.

You can't judge the game off the beta. And Im not trying to start anything either but I am just saying they are two totally different games. You like what you like I guess and thats alright but thats your opinion. I just like the realistic type better. It feels like a real war game and thats what a war game is suppose to accomplish in my eyes.

I keep getting an error when attempting to connect that says "UNKNOWN ERORR" and everything locks up, tried deleting and downloading again. Weird thing is I was playing it went to back out and everything froze so I just backed out to the dashboard before this happened.

The Beta is sick. Works perfectly for me too and Im on a campus with a terrible connection. I can't even play BFBC2 at all on this internet and I can barely get in a game of 2k.
