Best way to watch the Cavs this season?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I used Ballstreams last season for three months and I absolutely loved it. There were a couple of times the stream was messed up, but the admin was usually on top of it to fix stuff within 5 minutes. Full HD quality, I would use a HDMI cable and connect the laptop to the TV and couldn't even tel I was watching a stream.

I plan on using their service again this season.

Is Ballstreams something that would even be in danger of being shut down or having awful speed/buffering? I have no problem using non-official means to watch all the games, I just don't want my chief source to get shut down 60% through the season.
I never had a problem with their buffering service. IF you had the broadband, you'll be fine. As far as it being shut down. They've been streaming the NHL exactly like this for 6+ years and they're still going strong. Apparently their servers are in the Netherlands which isn't subject to copyright laws.

Looking into BallStreams and giving it some pretty heavy consideration.

For those who already use it, it lists VLC player as a way to watch it. Is that in tandem with an actual device(like XBox, Apple TV, etc.) or can I just use VLC(which I already use for ....other purpose:chuckle:) standalone to stream from BS?
You can copy/paste the stream URL into VLC and stream it directly into VLC, but for whatever reason for me personally it seems to work worse than just streaming it from the site directly. Sometimes resizing the window/stream would make the stream cut off. It was buggy for me a year ago.

I wonder why they dont do NFL Games then? That would be huge!!!

I'm going to try ballstreams. Does anyone think it'd be an issue to pay with a personal credit card, or would it be safer to pay with something slightly more anonymous?

Also, as a tip for other people signing up -- I believe you can pause your subscription, so if you wanted to sign up now to take advantage of the $10 off, pause your subscription until the first game and you'll save yourself a couple extra months of subscription time.

For those that have subscribed to League Pass broadband...

Can multiple users be logged in at the same time, just like with MLB At Bat?

Got my Ballstreams account set up today thanks to all of the good reviews in here. Sad I have to go outside the NBA for this comprehensive product as I haven't had cable or satellite for 4 years.

Also thank you to Henry for the freeze tip. All frozen and ready to go for October.

Ok i submitted a request to join BallStreams, does anyone know how long that usually takes to get in? I guess I assumed you just pay for it and you're in

Pretty sure I had an invite about 30 mins or so after sending a request...and that was just a couple days ago.

thanks. If anyone is on reddit, you can PM the mod of /r/ballstreams your email and ask nicely and he can (i guess) forward it to the powers that be if you dont get in shortly

edit- I got in. Bought the year for $90 (works out to $7.50/mo). Froze my account until 9/29 so ill be ready to go for the Oct 5 preseason games! Sweeeeet
