Bills Updates: Pick Watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you're a Bears fan maybe.

I should've clarified in my post that I was more referencing the fact the Browns lost and then the Bills won pretty much back-to-back.

Obviously the Browns losing sucks more.

Should've known they'd be SB contenders since we have their pick. Oh well.

Really didn't see Buffalo being able to overcome all those injuries, but even if they end up giving us the last pick in the first round it was still a good trade for us.

They have got lucky with opposing team injuries, but it doesn't look like they're going to be the dumpster fire that we hoped.

It is only two games in reality. They could lose 10 of their next 14 for all we know. I still refuse to believe that team is going to win 8-9 games. I mean, come on...

Some things I've noticed from watching the Bills' offense the first two games:

-E.J. Manuel has looked better than anyone outside Buffalo could have possibly thought. Shit, his own FO had so little confidence in him they gave the best available QB on the market $10 million a week before the season started. As long as he stays healthy (a big if) Buffalo can move the ball with their read-option looks and a surprisingly good trio of WRs in Sammy Watkins, Mike Williams, and Robert Woods.

-C.J. Spiller looks like 2012 C.J. Spiller, when he averaged 6+ yards a carry and totaled 1,700 rushing/receiving yards with 8 touchdowns. He didn't look the same last year though, with nagging injuries limiting him to only 1,100 total yards and 2 touchdowns all season. He's scored twice in 2 games so far, and his run of 47 yards today is already better than his longest run from last year of 27 yards.

-Seantrel Henderson is finally realizing his massive potential and looks like an absolute steal as a 7th rounder. He spent the entire day stonewalling Cameron Wake with little help, that's extra funny because I can fondly remember Wake making Schwartz his whipping boy against us in the home opener last year. It's incredible Buffalo has unearthed two potential Pro Bowl-level tackles in the last few years that late in Henderson and Jason Peters.

I think it's worth noting in years past buffalo has looked decent at the start of the season and then fizzles off.

I'm a Bills fan, so of course I'm loving this. I don't think anyone can make any assumptions based off of what we've seen so far. Those were 2 impressive wins, no doubt, but I still have concerns about the offense. They might start to click or they might fall apart, the season is young. All I know is there is a lot of excitement here in Buffalo

Any chance the Bills stay in Buffalo?

Any bad team that wants a miraculous turnaround should just give us their first round pick. I'm putting the Bills on 11 wins this year.
