Bosh trade

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Except Colangelo already said he's going to S&T Bosh.

And the Raptors have a boner for Mo Williams, always have. I'd imagine that if we offered Mo and JJ, they'd jump at it.

I'm not saying you're wrong but just because Colangelo said 2 months ago they would explore S&Ts doesn't mean he will actually do it. Colangelo is smart, it's gotta make some sort of sense for Toronto or else he'll let him go.

We'd have to put Mo/JJ/Eyenga/West in there I'd imagine.

They're only taking Mo if Calderon is coming here.

Highway robbery. Giving up a playoff nonfactor and a completely unproven JJ Hickson, surviving on garbage buckets and spoonfed dunks, for Chris Bosh would be a "Gasol" on the Trade Fairness Scale.
If it's for Bosh straight up, I agree. If it includes one of Hedo/Jose(or both, obv) then no. I'm sure the latter is the much more realistic scenario.

If we get Bosh in any shape or form, then it's highway robbery already.

If he forces himself to Cleveland, then the Raptors will take what they can get. You have to go into this thinking:

The Raptors will get screwed no matter where Bosh goes.
The Raptors have no leverage.
They will not be getting fair value for Bosh.

doesn't matter.. the Cavs don't have the pieces to land Bosh.

Whats wrong about that statement is that it is going to be for a S&T. This isn't a simple trade where the Raptors will look to see who they can get the most value from and trade Bosh to that team. Because no matter if our pieces are better or worse then another team, it's ultimately up to Chris Bosh as to where he will end up. If the Raptors feels that they can get talent whatsoever, no matter how small, they will take it. They have no leverage. Bosh has it all.

Im sure Lebron and Bosh have talked about playing together......if he can come to Cleveland....Lebron will give Gilbert and Grant the thumbs up to get it done

Do you really think that LeBron needs to give Gilbert and Grant the thumbs up to go after Bosh?

This could also be a way to get LeBron to commit, and say he'll stay to let Bosh know it's ok to come to Cleveland.

Well, it's a long shot, but at least we're exploring it.

Gotta go after the big fish first and work our way down. Have to see what it would take

exactly. Go big or go home. It's always been Gilbert's way, there's no reason to think that he's not pushing the same mentality on Grant.

If Bosh wants to come here I just feel we can get him, I really feel we have the assets...

Problem with the thread, it's not called Mosh For Bosh.

Ive been saying this since the end of our season and i will keep saying it. All it takes is for Bosh to say he wants to be traded to Cleveland and it will be a done deal. Toronto has no leverage. Mo, JJ and all of our expirings along with some future picks for Bosh and maybe Jarrett Jack should and will be enough to get Bosh but it all depends of if Bosh forces Toronto's hand and says he only wants to come to Cleveland. We do not have to take on one of their crappy contracts(unless something happens where we have to) and we do not need to trade everybody on the team not named Lebron for him.

Toronto has already said they will try to sign and trade Bosh and supposedly Bosh gave them a list of teams he wanted to be traded to so apparently Toronto is willing to take whatever they can for Bosh as long as it is reasonable and doesnt hurt their team for the future.
