Brendan Haywood's Trade Exception

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How much is PJ Tucker on? PJ Tucker won't be a bad option as a 3 & D guy who can also be LeBron's back-up.

2 years remaining 11 mill owed.

Not bad, but not sure you trade him as a salary dump. Bottom half starting sf or top backup sf. Can shoot and good defender, worth the contract and only 2 more years. Just don't see him being an option even with 2nd rounders thrown in.

Looks like Brooklyn wants to unload Joe Johnson for cap relief. Any interest at all?

I tried to post a well thought out reply but my initial reaction was "fuck that noise".. so, I guess I'll just stick with that..:chuckle:

I still hope for Patty Mills. I think that would be a terrific pickup for us. Patty Mills and Marvin Williams would be a home run and the salaries match. But I think it's unlikely. Patty Mills looked like the Spurs best PG during the Clippers series.

People need to adjust their expectations downward on this contract.

Sounds like the Kings have interest in Bledose. 3 way trade makes some sense there.

Kings have plenty of assets to send to Phoenix and we could route Haywood's contract to Sacramento in exchange for someone like Gay.

Pretty interested to see what happens.

I just looked through Sacramento's traded picks. Nope, they really don't have many assets. They don't even get to keep their next 1st rounder outside of the top 10 for the next 2 years - the JJ Hickson trade continues to muck up their ability to make future trade plans. They can offer the option of the top 10 pick, but it would be a bad move.

My god thank god we are not still rebuilding and waiting for that pick. Who has it the Bulls?

Yep. The problem for Sacramento is that they don't have any other team's 1st rounders saved up, and don't have a second rounder until 2018. What Sacramento should be doing is blowing it all up for picks.

I listen to their cowbell podcast and the owner is it blowing anything up, he wants to win now. By the way keys what the hell happened to the rcf podcasts?

While I agree with you, I do find the statement very ironic. Blowing it up implies to me they actually built something in Sac. :chuckle:

Does Bledsoe really garner more than a collection of Stauskas, McLemore, McCallum type players?

The Suns just signed another PG to a big contract and Bledsoe couldn't even find a team that wanted to sign him to an offer sheet last season.

The Kings youngish poo-poo platter + a draft pick seems like the likely trade scenario to me. Guess we'll see.

One easy way to piss off Ben is to bring up our RCF front page journalists. I guess they couldn't find anything to write about this year. But I digress...

Sacramento has an owner who thinks he has all the answers to build a good roster. You know how that story ends. So he continues to bring in a quantity of advisors and makes the final calls himself. And the result is one of the worst teams in the NBA despite lucking into Boogie.

What draft pick? Because of the Stepien Rule, the next 1st rounder they can offer is 2019. And yes, that platter is utter poo-poo.

Trade Boogie for all of Phillys hundreds of picks. I heard they are in the market for centers.

We can now officially cross off Wade as one of the Haywood targets. Was a real long shot, but now official.
