Browns 2015 Offseason Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
To add... The Browns had 12 rookies start this year. But, because they're the Browns, they can't make a good jump this year.

I hate the loser mentality when it comes to the Browns as much as you, but at some point you need to add some realism.

They're not going to make a "good jump" from last year to this year because they still don't have a QB and last year's schedule is likely the easiest we will have for some time. It's not because "they're the Browns".

Unless your definition of a "good jump" is much weaker than mine, of course. A good jump should include a playoff berth at this point. We have the best offensive line in football, a stellar collection of both young and in-their-prime defensive players, some high potential RBs, and a capable/sure handed WR corps.

But we still don't have a QB so I don't expect a good jump.

I don't have much to dissent on with you.. I do, however, have a different view of a "good jump". I think the schedule is going to be much more difficult. I think a good jump is over 7 wins with this schedule, with Josh McCown. If I see the defense lower their points given up, pass yards given up and rush yards given up, that's a jump. If I see a more formidable offense that lasts more than half the season and that has a stable running game throughout the season, I see that as a jump. So, I think it's just a matter of the definition of a good jump. I think the playoffs is much more of a jump than "good"..... Haven't been there in over a decade.

One good side effect of the Cavs season is I really haven't thought about the Browns at all. I just remembered Josh McCown was our QB and got a little sad though.

I am just going to throw this out there but hate when people talk about the schedule before the season has even been played and injuries and disappointments have occured...things change quickly in the NFL

I don't play, I like the Vikings cus of my dad and love the Browns cus I'm from cle so I can't pick players from the teams in the division of each team

Josh Gordon, Josh McCown and Terrelle Pryor. I like that McCown seems to be owning his position/role with the Browns.

I mean, it looks like McCown is wearing a fuggin kilt. :chuckle:

McCown is wearing a dress. And I think Pryor wore those shoes in Little League baseball.

Gotta admit, I was expecting a lot more out of that dick outline.

Is Josh Freeman on meth or what? Can't hang on anywhere.

This. It's not a "loser mentality". The Clowns are a dogshit team. Arguably the worst franchise in professional sports. (Raiders? Knicks? Wolves? Kings?) Until the Browns actually win the 8th game of a season, I have no expectations. This year, I honestly see a 3-13 or 4-12 year again. Schedule is brutal.
