) TE Gary Barnidge very active in passing game

Barnidge’s sure hands became a storyline earlier this summer when Pro Football Focus unearthed the stat that no tight end in the NFL had caught more consecutive passes without a drop than Barnidge’s 32. The recipient of some of the most important passes of the 2014 season, Barnidge isn’t exactly known as a stat sheet stuffer, but he’s been targeted early and often throughout the first two days of training camp.

The majority of Barnidge’s receptions have come across the middle on seam routes. With the outside receivers garnering plenty of attention, Barnidge has consistently found openings because he’s running good routes, the quarterbacks are identifying him early in their reads and they’re hitting him in stride with good passes.

Barnidge is considered a “Y” tight end in offensive coordinator John DeFilippo’s offense. That’s more of the prototypical, on-the-line tight end while free agent acquisition Rob Housler is more of an “F” tight end, which can sometimes be found lining up on the perimeter, in the slot or out of the backfield.

The Browns and their versatility... They love this guy. He can block, he can catch the ball AND he's been installing the new sprinkler systems on the practice fields mid-route running.. What a handy guy. :chuckle:

My head is telling me 3-13...but my heart...ugh...this happens every August

8-8, the Browns go 3-1 vs the NFC West

The NFC West looks stacked to me. Even the Rams and Cardinals look like they would be contenders for the division anywhere the Seahawks are not. I've got the Browns beating the 49ers though.

In day games with the sun out, they often do. However, night games dude.

The Browns play like one night game a year, and that's because the league has to let every team play on Thursday night.

Also, there are probably enough lights glaring down onto the field during night games that a tinted visor wouldn't be any different functionally than during a day game.

Would Maziel start for Ohio State? I'll hang up and listen.

Vegas odds for the Super Bowl amd AFC Championship. The Browns are tied with Washington for third from last for the Lombardi Trophy at 125/1. Only Tennessee and Jacksonville are lower, tied at 150/1.

Seattle and Green Bay are tied for best odds at 11/2. In our division, Vegas really likes the Ravens and Steelers, at 17/1 and 25/1 respectively.

Per 92.3, Josh Gordon arrested for yet another DUI.

I mean right away in the last paragraph people should of saw, "He led the NFL in receiving last year." and saw it was the old article.

Gordon's phone probably just blew the fuck up like 30min ago.
