For the Browns community, this would be huge... but my concern is having separate RCF and RBF accounts. I would love if the accounts could be linked up, but I am not sure that is possible.

EDIT: Read Ben's post in new thread... AWESOME!

Donating $20 after my new paycheck

Ben has said they would be.

People who donate should get a little icon that shows that they were a "founding member" of RBF.

I put in $50... Pyro, bro, Founding Member? Like you did a damn thing. A successful message board is incredibly difficult to pull off, despite the fact that Ben et al. make it look so damn easy. I think "founding" is a little strong...

Mods - Phills, Boobie. Good cop, Bad cop.

Good point re: content from the Browns. Obviously can't get some exclusives as a sub-forum. I hadn't thought of that, and it's a really important point...

As far as growing membership, the "e-real estate" will garner more attention and sales with a larger membership. Better to have the mods take out the trash (but have a lot of posters) because inevitably, if the quality stays high, you will attract some great new talent, which drives good discussion. It's a little crazy, but some of it is a numbers game. Throw a ton of spaghetti at the wall and see what Boobie doesn't ban:chuckles: But hey, it's Ben's baby and he knows a whole lot more about it than I do All I know is that if you look at RCF as a whole, over the years some really solid quality has shown up out of the blue, and it's always refreshing to see new intelligent perspectives.

Good luck Ben and thanks for all of your help.

I'm a mod on another huge forum; probably 3 times the size of this one...a moderator for over 4 years...do I get considered?

Message Keys and/or MoFlo and let them know you want to be in consideration for a mod.

i didn't read everything but why not just do realclevelandfans.com and have all three of the major sports on one site?

That's most likely possible, down the line with an indians forum as well.

All three would be connected, but separate sites able to house whatever they need.

Stuffing it all into one takes away from what they could become individually, IMO.

Will we be keeping the Browns subforums on here, and have Cavs subforums on RBF? How will that play out?
