Browns Free Agency 2015

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dont know if anybody cares but that Cox bastard went to Tennessee

Cox was okay, definitely a second corner. He lost his job in Denver the year before. No big loss, having watched too much 49ers football last year.

I guess I wouldn't mind Bowe signing with the Browns. He was super overrated for the money he was making, but if you guys can get him on a good deal, that is a solid pick up. He drops the easy ones and catches the hard ones.

I guess Browns are my second favorite team by default since I'm a Cavs fan, so I hope you guys get Bowe. He had good years in KC.

Bowe would be an AWESOME FA signing....if it were 2008.

Not sure if last year was a result of Alex Smith avoiding WRs like the plague, diminishing skills, or all of the above. After hearing how Pettine is a closer, in person; no doubt Bowe is a Brown if Pettine wants to go after him. Think there's some Ray Farmer influence on this potential acquisition.

I don't even think Somewhere Over Dwayne Bowe can replace Miles Austin production.

Dwayne Bowe will sign with the Browns, but they still desperately need to consider a WR with one of the 2 first round picks.

We need a real game breaker that has the potential to grow into something.

At this point you would think they have to be thinking WR and D-line with the 2 1st round picks regardless of best available player because those are easily the 2 biggest needs.

^ Fine.

He runs shit routes, so-so hands (tied for 3rd in drops) and he's a malcontent. I'd much rather have Andre Holmes or Cecil Shorts, 2 guys who have room to grow still.

I'd rather have a decent starting QB. Or give Manziel a full 16 games.

The market's almost down to the scraps now, but some players I'd be interested in signing to short, incentive-based deals.

NT BJ Raji
TE Rob Housler
TE James Casey
CB Peanut Tillman
RB Pierre Thomas

I'd also give starter money to Stefen Wisniewski and Rolando McClain, Wisnieswski could be moved to guard while McClain could team with Dansby to upgrade the linebacking core. McClain would be moving to a 3-4 for the first time in his career, but he's huge (6-3, 254), runs well for his size, and is two years younger than Robertson.

I said previously that I wouldn't be opposed to Dwayne Bowe on a short deal, but I would be very happy if they picked up Cecil Shorts. Good speed, good hands, 27 years old, and best of all, he's taller than 5'8. :chuckle:

Oh, and there's the Cleveland/Northeast Ohio connection, too, if that matters at all. Went to Collinwood HS and also went to Mount Union.
