The video game sequel to House of Cards?
... in all seriousness, I'm not even going to entertain the thought of picking up another Call of Duty game, and this is coming from someone who's played every single one since COD4 and also played the original one on the PC. They've gotten progressively worse as the years have gone on. COD4, WAW, and MW2 were all great. COD4 revolutionized FPS's as we know them, much like Halo did in the years prior. Everything after those three was a steaming pile of horse shit, culminating in this year's installment, which a lot of people have traded in for Titanfall already (although admittedly I've yet to play that game, either).
Even with developers churning out games on a three year rotational basis, it's not enough. It's the same game every single year. Same gameplay, same awful scum of the earth community, same issues (lag, spawn killing, occasional map exploits and glitches, etc.) year in and year out. From the sounds of it, Titanfall appears to be the next franchise to take the reins from COD as THE go-to FPS (or even online game in general) for most gamers, dedicated or casual.
