call of duty 2014

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
im right there with ya buddy

Borderlands is gonna get my money before CoD will, just waiting for the winter sale on that bad boy
Kingdom Hearts and GTA V PC are also higher on the totem pole than CoD, but i really do want this game to be good again.

Also, gotta be ready for an onslaught of DLC that will make the game twice the price in the long run and then be worthless this time next year

I would gladly spend all of that money on the Borderlands Pre-Sequel and all of its DLC before shelling out ~100 dollars for CoD and the same recycled, boring maps* that they bring out.

*I would, however, pay money if they brought back all of the original CoD 4 maps in one DLC package.

So apparently Zombies is not included in the retail game, and you will have to pay to get it. LOL

Activision is the fucking worst.

Not that I'm buying this game anyway, but still...ridiculous.

Also, the season pass for this game is fifty dollars. FIFTY.

Isn't it usually fifty anyway?

Can't say that I'm surprised. Like EA, everything that Activision touches turns to shit. Nothing but a bunch of money grubbers. The worst part is that people will pay for it, too, because it's Zombies.

I miss when video games were about quality over quantity. It's literally about nothing but money anymore. These companies don't give a shit about their gamer bases, even though they wouldn't be in business without them.

I thought they were normally thirty, which is still pretty absurd to me, having grown up during a time when companies released map packs for free. Valve still does this, by the way, although understandably not everyone has their unlimited funds.

I also read that five maps will be included in the season pass at launch, which means they are already done and were cut to be sold back to players. How this practice is legal I do not know.

It has always been 50. 4 dlcs at 15 bucks a pop, or season pass for 50. I believe it was MW3 that first did it.

Doesn't mean anything that Acti has done with this release is good. It's actually kind of a really, really bad thing. In 5 years, we'll buy the COD campaign, and have to buy the other modes, and every map individually. Sounds great...

Most innovative CoD in a while. I'm really enjoying it.

I haven't been able to get into a CoD game since MW2(played 30 mins of Ghosts before I never picked it up again). Having a lot of fun with this one. Exo movements add a new element to the familiar gun play. You can't help drawing comparisons to Titanfall, but it definitely has it's own unique feel.

This isn't on the level of MW as far as turning around a stale franchise, but it's a step in the right direction. I think anyone passing on this game because it's just another Call of Duty is potentially missing out. Sledgehammer did a pretty solid job on this one.

The DLC shit is lame but I feel that way about most DLC. Hence why I rarely purchase DLC for anything.

I'm a big Giant Bomb fan. It's the only site I trust for reviews. I think Jeff's review is pretty spot on.

I'm on PS4 if anyone wants to play sometime. My handle is DollarBill89.

My thing with (the non Treyarch) COD's, is they're great for a few weeks, but after about a month, maybe month in a half, I lose all interest. Ghosts kind of stung. Season pass bought, only played the map where you become Meyers, and while that was cool, it wasn't enough to keep me coming back.

I bought Ghosts for extinction hoping that it would scratch my zombies itch, not falling for it again.

I've only played some campaign. I'll be tearing into it this weekend probably. So far i Like it a lot. I can't wait to see how the verticality adds to the multi.

Tribes is the only other game I've played with such an element and it is a lot of fun.

This game is fucking shit. Going to return it tomorrow, and I never return games.
