Casspi is the pit bull Byron Scott wants on the Cavaliers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I am interested to hear. What type of dogs are the following:

JJ Hickson
Drew Gooden
Damon Jones
LeBron James
Michael Beasley
Shawn Bradley
Muggsy Bogues
Steve Nash
Popeye Jones

JJ Hickson, Drew Gooden, and Mike Beasley are all Mastiffs. See this description of a Mastiff on www.petmeds.com

Petmeds article:

Pet Meds Article said:
The Mastiff...is one of the largest breeds of dog. They have a gentle nature. Mastiffs can be quite stubborn at times, which some may confuse with a lack of intelligence. When training a Mastiff, try keeping the sessions short (around ten to fifteen minutes) but frequent (two or three times a day.) Because Mastiffs are quite sensitive, you will have better results if you train using an excited and happy voice. Be sure to practice your training often, even for tricks your Mastiff has already learned.

Damon Jones is a chihuahua.

LeBron James is an Australian cattle dog. Freakishly athletic, incredibly talented and naturally inclined to lead. Problem is...once they've rounded everyone up and established themselves as the alpha dog...they don't know where the hell to go from there.

Shawn Bradley- Irish Wolfhound. Freakishly tall...but otherwise useless and injury prone.

Muggsy Bogues- Jack Russell. Absolutely.

Steve Nash- Border Collie. Extremely intelligent, aware, focused, leadership abilities, ability to work in teams. One of my favorite dogs, one of my favorite players.

Popeye Jones- Boston Terrier

All this dog talk reminds me of this gem

i'm glad Casspi is passionate and all, but i'm kind of sick of wing players who can't handle the ball. seems like all the cavs ever get are catch-and-shoot guys.

Shawn Bradley- Irish Wolfhound. Freakishly tall...but otherwise useless and injury prone.

As the owner of an Irish Wolfhound... you couldn't be more accurate with its player comparison. They are intimidating in size only. Terrible guard dogs, too friendly with everyone.

On the other hand, they're great with kids. How's Shawn Bradley in that area?

EDIT: The one thing you did leave out in your comparison though, Jigo? Short lifespans. For Bradley, that would obviously refer to his NBA career...

If there were a section for hall of fame threads, I would nominate this thread. Couldn't stop laughing. Thank you all.

what no gemrna shepard comparisons? it was mentions in the same sentance

Something just doesn't strike me as right when comparing the first Israeli player selected in the 1st round to a German Shepard.

At no point did I say that Casspi doesn't have his use out there, or even that he's a bad player. Or hell...even that each of those guys are better than him (they are). I just said he's not a pit bull.

You're telling me that if someone let the dog equivalent of Omri Casspi off his leash and he came running towards you that you'd leap on top of the highest object in your general vicinity?

Exactly. Omri Casspi= not a pit bull.

Omri Casspi is probably more of a Giant Schnauzer than anything. Not really scary, but a little mean and definitely not a go-to pet for drug dealers.

This is just a terrible post...............see how I did that!

If I had to choose one type of dog to go to war with, I'd take a German Shepherd dog over a pit bull. Just saying. Smart, fast, agile, strong, smart, powerful, loyal, and very very smart.

Hey guys!

This thread cracked me up so much I had to join RCF! Soooo much better than Cavfanatics. You guys are funnier, smarter, better looking, and no one bans me for saying Lebrons an asshole. Haha.

Go Cavs!

Mike

this thread really just happened........anyways I'm happy to a have a small forward not named gee starting anymore. Lets hope our 3 point defense is at least a tad better this year
