Casspi Requests Trade

Passing lanes aren't so safe when Casspi in the game. That's no small thing if you're trying to win games. It creates turnovers, possessions, positive swings. But I don't think we are trying to win games so the point is moot.

As for Gee, I love the effort and sacrifice of body. But mentally he's kind of in auto pilot sometimes and Casspi's hunger to win would/does (when he plays) spark this team.

The calling names and bagel talk is fun for you guys, I know. But it seems to distract the board from what's happening on the court. Junk like the Assfingers thread, and mob mentality in the forum, has Casspi underrated by Cavs fans here imo.
 
I don't get why some people in this thread are butthurt over this request. Nowhere in the report was it implied that Casspi thinks he has "leverage" or anything of that sort. It's obvious that BS doesn't intend on playing him, and any player wants to play. So if he can't get minutes here, it makes sense that he would ask to be traded and try his luck elsewhere.

So why isnt he in the rotation if he "isnt that bad"?
 
I'd be offended to hear that Casspi asked for a different flavor of Gatorade. Guy's lucky to be in the league.
 
If Jiri Welsh had trade value, then Casspi must have some trade value. GET OFF YOUR HANDS PAXSON!

Yes, his 3pt% is great, but it really makes his overall shooting % of 39% even that much more outrageous. Subtract the 3's and Casspi is hitting on only 31% of his shots. Terrible. In his last 5 games played, he shot 2/14(14%) and 1/7(14%) from 3pt while taking only 6 FT's. Besides that, I firmly believe BS just does not like the dude. I really believe that BS think s Casspi just does not get it.

He's played in 19 games and averaged 13 minutes. A stat like Simple rating seems more useful over a long haul, imo, when comparing to guys who have played far more games and minutes. Do you think he does that when given Gee's minutes and responsibilities?
